As this is a native tool, it is very easy to integrate Cloud formation, AWS lambdas and Service Catalogs that can benefit the AWS Code Pipeline, and we can see the logs information in the AWS flow logs.

AWS Code Pipeline is native to AWS Environment so if users are using multiple public cloud platform then it would be difficult to integrate and manage the CI/CD pipeline.

Pushing the code, visibility of the codes and all the automation integration is very easy to use.

Define cloud resources using familiar programming languages (Python, TypeScript, Java, etc.) instead of YAML/JSON.

The options of various tools and services to integrate with my pipeline like S3, lambda, eventbridge, codebuild etc.

Its difficult to setup a cross account pipeline setup, like if i want to keep my codebase in one account and rest resources on another AWS account. Which makes it very lengthy process to setup that.

The intergration of various services like lambda, s3, codebuild, codecomit, cloudfront etc. Makes it easy for me to deploy Frontend.

The best things about the AWS Code pipeline are -

--> More secure as switched from GitHub actions because of the security concerns raised.

--> It worked both ways for us in solo and with Smooth integration with source code present in GitHub and other AWS services

--> Debugging becomes smooth because of cloud watch logs to check what causes the error and make it easy for implementation of those.

Aws code pipeline helps manage the workflow i.e., the storage, build, test, and resource stages before deploying the binaries.

There is nothing to dislike about AWS CodePipeline.

It helps organize the workflow of the project so that we do not miss any of the necessary steps.
