I like best about storyline that is easy to use. we can use it for developing our E-Learning content for internal and external use and trained our employeed.
We can say it is the upgraded version of our presentations. The modern interface and features makes our content look great and makes or clinet happy because they now have something that feels more exciting to their learners and trainees.
Main dislike is the cost and yearly subscription for update. second thing is the somtime issue with the font integration and error in bulk image uploading occuers.
It makes our content interactive and easy to understant as compare to other software like captivate.
Benefit - We now can send oure-Learning projects directly to our clients that we need them to look at and get feedback from them in real-time. earlier it was challaging for us to upload the project on scorm and then generate the links and share to our clients.
I like Articulate Storyline 3 because it is easy and fun to use. While it worth getting to know the basics, if you don't, you can still have fun and create something fantastic in minutes!
The only think I don't care for is the things that are not intuitive. For instance, hold down shift when you resize something to keep it in proportion. You wouldn't know that unless someone told you or you read it somewhere.
Creates fun and engaging pieces for me to use in my elearning courses. I can build Storyline pieces in a variety of ways, depending on how my client gives me their material, and it is fun and versatile.
It has the easiest interface and it's very easy to use and master, the hardest part is literally just having the creativity to make the most beautiful courses however, this has been made obsolete by articulate 360.
If i had any complaint its only that I hate the subscription model, but nothing is wrong with the software itself and I hate that the subscription model makes this obsolete.
Pay for the training it's a great investment.
It allowed me to create video and audio training with very little third party support and because of ease of use it works very well with LMS systems, however, at lot of this has been replaced by articulate 360
I love how you can create engaging and interactive presentations that are not boring!
Windows is the only supported operating system, and many designers use Macs, like me, which forces you to use a virtual machine to run Windows on a Mac.
Creating engaging content for online students
Triggers are genius, variables are a breeze, and development goes quickly and accurately.
Sometimes the buttons go wonky and don't change states as designed.
On-time training with top-shelf results. I no longer ask if something can be done, I just look for the "how to do it".
You can do simple things or you can do very detailed and intricate things. It was quite easy to learn and there are more things that I learn every day in the program. It makes it easy to do things that I couldn't even dream of doing in PowerPoint.
I would say that the only thing that I dislike is that it isn't as compatible with some of our other software and programs as something like PowerPoint. It's not really a problem with Storyline - it's more of a problem from our end, but it can make using the presentations a little bit of a hassle at times.
I use Storyline for a lot of different presentations. It offers a great deal of variety that isn't there with other software.
I love the triggers that allow us to make the eLearning interactive for the learner.
The characters are dull, dated, old. Where are the millennials? And, generations just before and after?
Performance and behavior change for learners.
People really tune into scenario-based learning versus boring content where they just read and click.
It is very simple to use and easy to understand. All you need to do is spend a little time with it.
Its abit too much like PowerPoint on steroids. There needs to be more independent elements and variations in the software.
We are using it to resolve gaps in our training. Benefits - its more interactive and easier to watch than the standard chalk and talk method.

You can customize the user experience in lots of ways. When creating a presentation, you can make it foolproof for the user. It is also easy to use, very similar to power point.
Sometimes it runs slow on my device. I have to save frequently because it will freeze and I have to close the program entirely to get it to work again. I would also like to see a more useful help feature because I get stuck sometimes.
They have a long "free-trial" period, so you have nothing to lose. Try it out first and see for yourself if you like it. It is similar to PowerPoint, but it does so much more in the presentation and allows users to interact with the content.
We are using it for teachers to assign things to students. It allows us to give students an interactive presentation with questions they answer and entertaining technology. It gives a unique student experience with videos, drag and drop activities, links and questions.
