"When an LMS isn't an option"

What do you like best?

It eliminates having an LMS that for some smaller organizations may not need them but require fast training likes in sales environments.

What do you dislike?

That because it's not an LMS a lot of the features that are inherent in an LMS aren't available. That's the mix bagged here. You get ease of use but not all the customization you are accustomed to.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are familiar with storyline and articulate this will be a breeze to use and i'd recommend it over similar products. The best thing in my opinion is that anyone can use this if they have any experience with powerpoint as the format for the content creator is the same.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The biggest fix has been being able to do distance training without a full LMS.

"Great programs for course creation!!!"

What do you like best?

I really like that Articulate is so simply organized. It's easy to utilize the different program apps/aspects of Articulate, and the training videos are organized in a visual method that makes them easy and pleasing to utilize.

What do you dislike?

I can't think of anything that I dislike.

Articulate Online is a viable, innovative, and relevant solution to the creation of courses and presentations online. :)

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As a Phd student in Statistics/Data Science and as a digital artist, Articulate Online is an organized, innovative, and "trendy" solution to creating classes and presentations online. It is a huge time saver and reduces hair pulling.

Articulate Online is a hosted online service offered by Articulate for users who want a low-cost product to deliver eLearning and track activity.

What do you dislike?

Need to pay extra to increase a number of users. No indication as to how many users you can add.

Articulate products are used by organisations worldwide to quickly create rich and interactive learning content and communication resources. Articulate Online allows us to incorporate course access it into our existing web site, providing our users with a seamless experience.

The user-friendly hosted service "Articulate Online" allows subscribers to track how employees, customers, and prospects interact with your e-learning courses.

"Articulate Online Easy solution"

What do you like best?

Articulate online is a simple cost effective solution to hosting your courses online . If you don't already have an LMS available you can easily export your articulate storyline projects directly into the hosting site. This is done with very little ease and you dont have to deal with may of the Scorm errors or settings changes that can be frustrating for the user.

What do you dislike?

It does not have as many full features as another more expensive LMS would offer. However when you are mainly just hosting articulate courses this really is a simple solution and doesn't require these extra add ons anyway!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It is simple to use and easy to train on. Plus they have a large database of questions and answers that you can reference. They do not have an integrated Ecommerce solution but there are other options out there for it.

What do you like best?

Articulate is an excellent, full-featured online platform that allows our business to feature and track e-learning and training programs. It is intuitive and easy to use, which works great for our employees. Moreover, it is a cost-effective solution.

What do you dislike?

Truthfully, I do not have any dislikes when it comes to Articulate Online, as it is the closest thing to perfect when it comes to an online learning management system (LMS).

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Feel free to explore your options, but I doubt you will find anything as intuitive or as cost effective as Articulate Online. That it works so seamlessly with all Articulate software is just an added bonus.

We are providing easy access to training, while minimizing the opportunity cost of tracking the results of that training. Additionally, it allows for a detailed understanding of how our employees our interacting with our training programs so that we can understand the quality of our knowledge transfer and employee engagement.

"WBT hosting and reporting"

What do you like best?

We use Storyline 2 to develop WBT programs. The ease of publishing to Articulate online can not be beat. once in it is easy to pull the reporting that I need to track program usage.

What do you dislike?

the only down side is he pricing structure and the jumps that you need to make as you place more content into the site.

"Great online learning tool"

What do you like best?

Articulate is a great software for creating quality videos and use them for online courses. I have used it for my online classes and it has been easy to manage from an instructor's point of view. Students have also enjoyed the experience and I have obtained student learning data to keep track of their progress in a very convenient way.

What do you dislike?

There is not much to dislike, except for the cost of the product. I had a difficult time to get it through my department and had to wait to receive a grant to finally obtain it. I wish they would have good pricing for academic uses, and even free options.

Great online learning tool, liked by students, but price is steep.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Online course delivery. As the number of online course offerings increase on our campus, we are always looking for new and innovative ways to create and deliver these. This product is very beneficial in that respect and has helped create materials that help engage online students.

"Great E-Learning System"

What do you like best?

My favorite parts about Articulate Online are: They have a great Authoring Program, there are Plenty of features (constantly adding more), there is a PowerPoint Style in platform, Customer Support is very helpful and quick to respond, Integrated Audio & Video Editing is Included in the platform.

They give you everything you need to accomplish and finish your e-learning courses.

What do you dislike?

Articulate is pretty Expensive all things considered, if you aren't used to using something similar to Articulate, the learning curve can be pretty steep, Limited email sending abilities.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Try the Articulate 360-it's very helpful.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

E-learning, growth, development. Personal and professional development are probably the best aspects of it.

"Good for what it's designed for"

What do you like best?

Solid product, works as advertised. As an add-on to Articulate, it is nearly flawless.

What do you dislike?

Limited in scope, lacking in features compared to other LMS'.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are trying to get your feet wet with LMS' and Articulate Online meets your requirements, by all means go for it. The price is fair and the support is very good. If you are growing your training offerings, you will soon discover where this is lacking and need to move to a more full featured LMS. Don't let the lack of features disuade you though - if this meets your needs, its a great option.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Articulate will be the first ones to tell you: they are in the elearning business, not the training business. That said, If a simple LMS is needed to train one company or team, this is an excellent product. It works amazingly well when coupled with Articulate Storyline, 360, or similar products. If multi-tennancy, ecommerce, or other (standard) features are required, look elsewhere.
