I loved your A / B test design

What do you like best about Apptimize?

It allows testing very efficiently, Apptimize is an easy to use software, with a good interface and that has gradually become very helpful with its different tools.

I just have not had problems with the use of Apptimize, I am satisfied with the features it has.

Great tool, Great Relationships

Apptimize provides a great tool for native mobile (iOS, Android) A/B testing. There are several benefits of the tool:

What do you dislike about Apptimize?

1) setting up your own test success metrics and funnels. Apptimize allows developers to designate success metrics for each test and then provides the dashboard to make it easy to compare those metrics across variants.

Recommendations to others considering Apptimize?

2) Managing tests. Ramp tests up, turn tests off, turn tests on. Feature flags. It's all there and they continue to invest and improve

What problems is Apptimize solving and how is that benefiting you?

3) Relationships. Apptimize invests in their customers, listens to our feedback and offers advice on our ab testing strategy.

A great mobile testing tool supported by a knowledgeable product team

What do you like best about Apptimize?

Apptimize has many great functions including a reliable visual testing tool and a powerful programmatic editor with which you can build many testing driven product decisions.

What do you dislike about Apptimize?

There isn't much to dislike about the platform. I'm looking forward to the many amazing features to come.

Recommendations to others considering Apptimize?

I would consider Apptimize for anyone who is interested in making data and testing driven decisions in their product development or acquisition roadmaps. Apptimize is unique in the sense that it allows you to build small visual experiments on things such as buttons, colors, or images or large experiments on the usefulness of entire new modules or user flows.

What problems is Apptimize solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're looking to increase the number of subscriptions purchased in the app, increase the tenure of our already existing subscribers, and improving many in-app experiences and products. We also have used apptimize to test push notifications in order to increase the percentage of users who are opted in.

Super easy, powerful and insightful

What do you like best about Apptimize?

It provides huge flexibility when running multiple experiments, preparing them and previewing them in both development and production environments on iOS and Android.

We've released plenty behind feature flags which is really great for us to target and optimize experiences from CRM campaigns, to deep functionality as well as testing new ideas and validating them quickly.

What problems is Apptimize solving and how is that benefiting you?

The dashboard could do with some work. It would be great to have a quick overview of all my environments so i can see what is happening at a glance rather than have to go into each environment.

Really Powerful

What do you like best about Apptimize?

Easy to get set up and use, awesome to be able to create tests without updating the browser (after the initial Apptimize-enabled version is deployed).

What do you dislike about Apptimize?

I wish it had support for A/B tests for our web UI. We ended up subscribing to Optimizely to perform that task.

Recommendations to others considering Apptimize?

make sure that you have figured out how you want to handle analytics, push notifications, install attribution, and web experiments - there are a lot of vendors with overlapping products in these areas.

What problems is Apptimize solving and how is that benefiting you?

This has helped us identify the impact of changes we are making to our apps - both to the retention and usage of the apps. It also helps us incrementally roll out new features to ensure that things are working well before all of our users get the new features.

Still hard to figure percentage of deployment when some tests are full and others are restricted

I would use it as it is so easy to use and can making testing real world scenarios quicker

We can test UI elements on the fly changing color font and content. Coding we can test deep down code with A/B testing and parameters.

Apptimize offers great service while giving you what you need in A/B testing

What do you like best about Apptimize?

I like the responsiveness and the quality of support. Questions are addressed in timely manner, and the Apptimize team genuinely want to see us to realize the benefits of A/B testing. The service team actually performed tests for us to show what kind of benefit we could be seeing.

What do you dislike about Apptimize?

Integration with m-particle is limited. Ability to map user based actions to user behaviors is somewhat limited. User interface has been buggy. The startup cost outweighs the usage, want a full service solution, I don't want to have to admin the campaigns, just want to see results for the service we pay for.

What problems is Apptimize solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have found just by switching the text on a few buttons and fields we were able to dramatically change user behavior.

I don’t think there’s a lot to dislike in Apptimize. One thing that I would love in the product is a web testing platform.

B testing Works, but too much magic

When it works it "just" works with minimal work from dev side

In most of the cases when it doesn't work there is no way to find out why. Documentation is not intuitive.
