Yelp Advertising is so simple and easy to use. You can even claim a business if someone else has listed it before you had a chance to sign up! Yelp is the main way everyone can easily find your business and it's very nice and clean! It was so easy to implement Yelp into our growing business. We check it daily and see that our ratings are updated frequently.

The only problem I have ever had is if a business is listed multiple times and that can be a little difficult, or if businesses have similar or the same name. A vetting process would be a great way to help solve this.

It helped our company get more activity and engagement on the web, we were visible to thousands if not more, customers, and we were able to get much more service very quickly. We were able to advertise our business easily and efficiently with plain advertising guidelines and customer support.

I love the interface! It is very "with the times". I also love the fact that it is straightforward. You know the price you're paying- and what you will get.

I actually haven't found any dislikes yet. It really caters to all my needs.

It allows us to reach the end user that is quickly always on their mobile phone. It also allows us to keep track more efficient on who our ads appear to.

The thing i like best about Yelp Advertising is that it is a well.known company that reaches local business and companies. They are big name and compare to many competitors.

The price to advertise is still overly higher than others, I feel as though if the company looks into this it was improve Yelp Advertising. It shouldn't be a big adjustment.

Yelp Advertising is solving my advertising issues. Using the old mailer system way was not logical anymore and not reaching as many potential customers. My business performance has increased since signing up.

Yelp Advertising is a wonderful way to get your brand out there in a way that seems authentic and natural to your target demographic. By advertising on Yelp you are using untraditional marketing strategies that your competitors might not be aware of. You are more likely to get a lot out of your advertising with Yelp if you have spent some time and money on getting good reviews from your customers, and also if you are not a food establishment or "typical" retail location. By this, I mean that if you are a wedding dress store, which is a kind of service where most do not have any experience or a relationship with. Then, being placed first on Yelp can help you tremendously. On the other hand, if you are a typical café in a small neighborhood, you are not going to see the same results because many people already have a chosen favorite café and they won't be swayed by just seeing your business name and reviews. They need more advertising to be convinced. For us, being in the wedding industry, Yelp Advertising has been extremely helpful.

There have been some times where we have not had the revenue and profits we were hoping and there are certain times of year where we have to limit our ad budget. During these times, Yelp will call and call and call. They want us "back", even when we explain that we cannot afford it. They keep calling and asking, and they say things like: "you will make the money back in no time". And yes, that has been true during summer months for example, but the amount of people getting married in November is low compared to June. And so, their pressure to buy is uncomfortable.

Most Yelp users do not realize that the first listings they see on Yelp are promoted and that their placement has little to do with their Yelp ranking and more to do with how much more than the competitor they were willing to pay.

I like the user-friendly interface and setting. It's very easy to use. No need too much background or training on this. It's very easy for first-time user to understand how to use and implement it.

I hope Yelp Advertising could add more features to help me target my audience better. For example, to target them by demographic or past search activities, etc.

To review a business. I think Yelp Advertising is a trustworthy platform and people rely on the reviews on yelp.

I like having a dedicated rep for support and strategy building.

It has not been as effective as other platforms for PPC marketing and it is harder than Google Ads to customize budgets for various locations.

We have a lot of local competition, and it helps us come up first and stand out.

I like the option that Yelp has for their advertising and the different options you can select when it comes to your business budget. I also think the tool to find your business, to include additional information about your business whether it's women-owned, has parking, different payment options, and the ability to control the way your business previews to other Yelpers.

I dislike that the tool to find your business can be wonky, it can take a lot of time to find your business, or create your business if it's not already created by another Yelper. I've had issues transferring Yelp Business pages to another Yelper/User due to business changes. I also do not enjoy the badgering about the Yelp Business Advertising. One year, there was promo for up to $250 to use on Yelp, and I found that a representative was calling every day to see if interested. However, they do not really put you on a do not call list and that's what bothered me.

Yelp solves the issue of people not seeing the business page by running ads and using the metrics to see if I can put my business on top of the page so that more people can see the business. I think that part is good as well as other parts such as the ranking system when it comes to finding a specific business or restaurant, you can land in #1 or #10 depending where thr metrics land. You have to have people consistently going on Yelp to give your page a review so that is good, too.
