Tracking commissions before payment
It's a clear and concise repository as a rep to stay on top of your goals, and as a manager, it's extremely easy to administer and monitor the goals you have for you and your team.
Seems like there haven't been many updates in quite some time to the look and feel or functionality.
When used in conjunction with Incent, your Incentive compensation process will undoubtedly be better.
Before using objectives, I would write my MBOs on a sticky note. That's not scalable or efficient. With Objectives, I'm able to better understand exactly how much I will be paid and why.
User interface is simple and easy to use
I can't think of something now, but I haven't used the mobile app - do you have one?

I like how simple this program looks to use, it helps with being a new user or administrator. It is easy to add multiple objectives for each employee or to give objectives for each team
This module needs way more training options available. There is no training and very little help on the website when attempting to learn this so it becomes very trial and error, which I do not have time for. It is not well linked to Incent so it takes a bit of effort to set it up and my sales team run into errors on it very frequently. Since I can't impersonate users on this module, there's no way to see what's going wrong. I also find that my users have many issues with this program and are constantly confused even when they've used the program for years.
this program is much easier for the users than for the admin. the admin has the trouble of setting everything up and troubleshooting problems blindly. the users have a much easier time. I recommend not using the company objectives and always use the individual ones
We use Objectives to measure our KSO part of our sales incentives. Each member of our sales team can enter their own measurable objectives into their plan which allows their manager to approve them and then measure their performance at the end of the quarter. It is easy to see the payout from these and is a much quicker process than the billings part of the incentives. The benefits is keeping all of the objectives locked into one database where employee, manager, and admin can see and work with.

Its login features are good. Outside of that I don't like Xactly Objectives.
It doesn't convey accurate information, and admins don't know how to set it up properly.

it can be confusing sometimes on how to read the information if you are new to the software.
