Workstation Player allows for me to run multiple VM's on my laptop. I enjoy having the option to take a snapshot if I mess up on my work. It gets better and more reliable with each update.

Can be slow or unresponsive on Mac OS very often.

Lo que mas me gusta de esta herramienta es lo eficiente e intuitiva que es, con esta herramienta pues virtualizar cualquier sistema operativo con el que puedes jugar y toquetear, y si rompes algo, pues volver al estado original de cuando iniciaste la máquina, también destacar la facilidad de transferir archivos de la máquina anfitriona a la maquina virtual, tan solo haciendo el más que conocido copia y pega, o bien arrastrando el archivo en cuestión a la venta de la máquina virtual.

Lo que menos me gusta, quizás es que a veces puede llegar a funcionar de una forma fluida con versiones de sistemas operativos, quizás sea culpa o bien del hardware asignado o una mala configuración de la misma, pero hay que decir que dicho problema solo lo he tenido en contadas ocasiones y que no es nada generalizado, todo lo contrario la configuración que suele hacer por defecto, suele ser la configuración mas óptima para lograr un mejor desempeño en la virtualización.

Recomiendo encarecidamente esta herramienta, ademas que puedes obtener una versión totalmente gratuita si no le vas a dar un uso comercial, lo cual es una gran ventaja, ademas de lo que anteriormente he mencionado y es su forma intuitiva de hacer la cosas y toda la compatibilidad de la gran mayoría por no decir todos los sistemas operativos existentes en la actualidad.

Los principales usos, que suelo darle es para instalarme diferentes sistemas operativos que uso de forma esporádica en función del trabajo asignado lo cual me evita tener que estar particionando el disco duro y así evitar también posibles perdidas de datos causadas por la creación de dichas particiones, ademas contando con la ventaja que mencioné anteriormente, que puedes tomar capturas del sistema operativo en un momento dado y en cualquier momento puedes volver a dicho estado con un solo clic.

Working from non domain networks gives issues a lot of times. You cannot connect to the company network from your vm even when you have vpn installed on your host machine

I prefer the workstation pro version, but in case you need to install in a secondary machine and you don't need to build a new vmdk , or you just need to play a vmware virtual machine, this is the version right for you.

Every new release is more reliable, this program is a must have for me.

I can run outdated software in outdated OS and know I can use it in the future on new computers as long as I can use workstation player.

I like how VMware Workstation just works. Unlike other VM Applications VMware just works. For example transferring files from Desktop Workstation to the VM is seemless and in general it runs well also. The UI is also the best ever and no other VM applications match it.

There isn't very much that I dislike. Maybe the only thing I don't like is that occasionally when you close a VM it just freezes.

I am solving networking and installation problems.

I really liked that it was easy to install my virtual machine onto VMware and it runs very smoothly.

There was nothing really that I disliked but in the older versions some virtual machines weren't compatible.

This helped create a practice environment for us to work on problems without compromising our actually machines.
