WordPerfect Office Reviews

PROS: Great coding capabilities in terms of customizing macros for automating certain processes. This feature is smoother to implement in WordPerfect than in MS Office. It lets us easily create any document such as forms, letters, envelopes, etc. Moreover, it enables us to efficiently incorporate various company data into the documents they create or manage. And it lets us easily print precise contents or perform copy-paste to and from other apps. WordPerfect allows us to accomplish everything by clicking some buttons that we encode using its custom macro feature. It is undoubtedly better than the popular MS Office.

CONS: It doesn't allow direct syncing of userboxes with database documents by putting them together in a PDF file. Such capability would be helpful for instantly filling forms among other usages. Instead, the platform makes the additional yet unneeded step of requiring FBF files for the process.

PROS: WordPerfect is for you when you need a replacement for MS Word. It also has a more affordable price package than the full license of MS Office.

CONS: Expect some rough experiences when learning to use WordPerfect. That is especially when you're moving from MS Word.

PROS: I enjoy the experience of using WordPerfect. Everything is easy, unlike other word processors. That is from learning its functions up to its everyday use.

CONS: Understanding its features can be daunting. That's true, especially when you aren't that willing to adapt to new software.

PROS: WordPerfect is an essential tool for my job in a law firm since it helps me create professional documents with centered alignment. It gives me a good grasp of exact text location as needed and lets me accurately adjust margins. And when I make a centered alignment at one point, the following parts of the document seamlessly trail up accordingly while typing. It is useful for keeping account statements and letters looking neat and professional.

CONS: WordPerfect needs improvements with the saving feature. It isn't easy to edit documents created by my coworkers, especially when I need to save them as a separate new file. A sharing feature where we can collaborate on a document would be a great addition. But aside from this issue, WordPerfect doesn't cause any problem for us. It is better than Microsoft Office since I can quickly maximize its use to create contracts and other legal files.

PROS: WordPerfect has advance shortcut keys that MS Word doesn't feature. For example, WordPerfect has the date insert shortcut key, CTRL + D. This intuitively inserts the current date into the document.

CONS: Some individual features are somehow inferior to their counterparts in MS Word. That includes layout and word art, among others.

PROS: It is better than Microsoft Word, especially for handling publishing and legal documents. It has a feature that lets you show and customize some codes. Such a function is useful when you want to gain better control and usage of the software. Also, WordPerfect consistently gains extensive updates that have helpful features too.

CONS: WordPerfect is not that popular. Meaning, many software tools don't work with this word processor. Most notably is the Dragon dictation app that I really want to use with WordPerfect.

PROS: It has many features, but it is all easy to learn and use. It is even easier to use and manage than the famous Microsoft Word.

CONS: WordPerfect is not a popular or common word processor. It is a disadvantage because it is hard to come across WordPerfect in most companies.

PROS: Macros customization is the best thing that WordPerfect has. It greatly speeds up my editing processes daily.

CONS: I face a few problems when applying to space. I need to hop to the bottom part of a document, which is somehow inconvenient.

PROS: WordPerfect is lovely when it comes to spreading or sharing additional info to various people. WordPerfect Office X3 and all of its other editions carry complete tools that fit the demands of students, teachers, and other people around them. Plus, its license is so affordable too. The teacher and student editions, for example, allows you to install copies of WordPerfect into three different computers without spending big.

CONS: There are moments when WordPerfect loads very slowly. It often happens when we need to use more features or options. There are even moments when we cannot find the option that we need.

PROS: WordPerfect is packed with helpful features, especially when it comes to formatting. And you can't easily find these features on other similar platforms. It lets you customize its codes for better control when creating a document. Amazingly, it has functions and templates that are particularly applicable for making legal documents. It is necessary for my line of work!

CONS: I am having some rough experience with the available features for forms and fields. But I got no other problems with WordPerfect.
