What do you like best about Voyager?

Voyager is versatile and easy to teach new students. It keeps track of multiple items for me and I can search multiple ways.

What do you dislike about Voyager?

Searching for items through the program is difficult and wand misreads happen often. It can also be difficult to add new types of items.

Recommendations to others considering Voyager?

Voyager is not the easiest program to search for items in. We have to use it in conjunction with our online OPAC to make things easier to find.

What problems is Voyager solving and how is that benefiting you?

Charging and discharging books to patrons, as well as equipment and various other media. It is beneficial to have several types of items so you can make different check out times.

VOYAGER: EASY TO USE

What do you like best about Voyager?

The accessibility is very straight-forward and easy to use.

What do you dislike about Voyager?

Nothing, couldn't ask for a better software.

If you're looking for a straight-forward software than I believe voyager is the way to go.

What do you like best about Voyager?

I like how convienient it is to access patron and class information. Check-ins and check-outs are easy and fast.

What do you dislike about Voyager?

Sometimes the available command settings are hidden like you would have to right click somewhere on the toolbox rather than having an option to access that command.

What problems is Voyager solving and how is that benefiting you?

The benefits are that it is user friendly and easier to teach new hires and can add on many commands within the program.

Review for Voyager, Integrated Library System

What do you like best about Voyager?

Voyager ILS by ExLibris is user and administration friendly all packed in one! The functions are broken down to different modules and clients i.e. Acquisition, Circulation, Reports, Catalogue, etc while CLI is available for batch processing and maintenance. API is available for an additional cost.

What do you dislike about Voyager?

The user interface is a fixed size window that cannot be resized which makes viewing non-optimizable. The software is now dated and support is lacking - bugs previously reported a couple years ago still hasn't been fixed.

What problems is Voyager solving and how is that benefiting you?

Main library functions such as ordering, receiving, and invoicing materials. Classifying and indexing materials. Lending materials to patrons and receiving them back. Tracking magazine, journals, and newspaper holdings. Provide public access catalogue.
