Great culture and good tech stack
What do you like best about Vocera Platform?
Their flexible timings in work are excellent as we have to complete the assigned task irrespective of the hours we worked; their transparent work culture and openness make us feel secure and confident.
What do you dislike about Vocera Platform?
There is less pay scale than in other product-based companies, and the benefits are also not so great compared to others. The leave policy is also not so great.
What problems is Vocera Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?
They provide excellent and real-time communication between doctors and caretakers. Their system is integrated with hospital monitors, which helps caretakers and doctors respond immediately if there is any issue.

Vocera a great communications product
What do you like best about Vocera Platform?
I love the Vocera mobile badges as they are a great communications tool that is used on a healthcare campus. It allows you to interact and reach out to individuals and/or groups fir action or assistance. It's a great product.
What do you dislike about Vocera Platform?
There is really nothing to dislike about the product
What problems is Vocera Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the benefits of the Vocera platform is that mobile pages can be used as GPS locators to locate employee's as well as locate missing badges.

What do you like best about Vocera Platform?
Vocera made communication easy while I was deployed to a large hospital.
What do you dislike about Vocera Platform?
There was not an aspect that we did not like.

Learn all of its capabilities and it will prove to be a great tool.

We had to ensure our WiFi network was in great working order before deployment. We learned to train more.

Vocera is a powerful tool for communication across your organization.
What do you like best about Vocera Platform?
The ability to reach people on the go is probably the most important aspect of this tool - particularly because it doesn't require revealing personal numbers or having to keep too many people in a contact list. Push to talk with advanced voice recognition saves time and the effort of having to track down who's assigned where. Another good feature is the ability to use external numbers to connect to users in the platform. If I don't have a Vocera device on me, I can still contact users in the system using a phone number, which adds added flexibility and features to the platform.
What do you dislike about Vocera Platform?
The devices are not cheap and require various means of attaching to the body or else they are slippery and can fall out of a pocket, etc. easily. Voice recognition has limitations - sometimes it will not understand what I am trying to say - but this has improved greatly over the last several years. Would be better if the mic could be switched on or off and the assistant works only when the mic is on, but is always listening when the mic is on.

If you're looking for a hands-free communication platform and you have a decent budget for devices, check out Vocera. It is a valuable business solution that can yield more benefit than the initial cost over the long run. With multiple configurations, Vocera can likely offer a solution that works for the size and budget of any company with a need for its application.

Connecting multiple teams across an organization is easier with Vocera, particularly for personnel who are not stationed or are consistently moving. This saves time and ensures that we do the necessary communication with individuals before proceeding with tasks that may need their acknowledgement or input.

Useful system, not just a badge
What do you like best about Vocera Platform?
I loved that it was always with me. I could quickly reach co workers, in their offices, lab, etc. Even if they were doing something, it was easy for them to answer hands free and multitask.
What do you dislike about Vocera Platform?
At the time I used it, noisy environments were a challenge. I believe this has been improved.
Recommendations to others considering Vocera Platform?
Don’t just use it like a phone. Integrate it into your work flows so that you get the full benefits.
What problems is Vocera Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instant communications, distinguishing “outside” calls from inside the company. Quick, urgent communication and messaging. The benefits were faster decision making and communications as well as process automation.

Great product needs some tuning .
What do you like best about Vocera Platform?
Is can be used by everyone who can speak clearly.
What do you dislike about Vocera Platform?
Mostly lost, due to voice recognition and accents of the users. It can use good filtering. The phone is really heavy, like a brick. As a clinician, this cannot be the only item we carry in our pockets. We do carry a personal phone and pager and notebook etc. This is not helpful at all. Change the brick .

Phone calls, scheduling access , patient info, etc .

What do you like best about Vocera Platform?
