Veyon Reviews

.I like that I can remote any machine and that I can monitor and send messages to users on the remote machine

The service stops some times for no reason

We are able to monitor users and what projects they are on

I am a proctor and the facilities like text message, remote view and remote control are really helpful for me to do my job. The screenshot option is really good. I can take screenshot of what students are doing and if they are cheating, its easier for me to take the proof. I don't have to go to every single computer to input the passwords and also rebooting is easy.

The only thing that I dont like about veyon master is that after the internet connection is gone, the whole page goes blank. So I have to close the software and click on it again. I think its a waste of time because at least 100 students will come to write exam everyday. I dont have time to close and open the application every time.

It will make your work and life more easier.

The main 2 factors in veyon master that made my life and work easier is

The best part of Veyon was definitely its price (free!), but I have had positive experiences with it from the start- easy install, easy navigation, and subtle presence on the monitored computers.

The reception for the monitors is a little laggy; if students are viewing a video, I can only see a frame every so often, and while not incredibly inconvenient, it just makes the experience slightly harder on the eyes.

I've used other computer monitoring software in other school districts, and not only did I not see a significant difference in the product, I know the districts paid for their software. I think Veyon is the clear choice because of its ease of use and its low price of 'free'.

When students would come to work in my school library, I was often unable to manage their Internet usage, and they would play games rather than work. Now, I can see what they are doing using Veyon, without having to walk by their computers, and close the programs they shouldn't be using. I can also easily scan the desktops of the library computers to check whether students have installed programs that aren't supposed to be there or have saved their documents to a public desktop, making it unsightly.
