Flexibility to adapt to changes in the go-to-market organization Very Flexible with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about Varicent?
There is a lot of flexibility in what can be built in the tool. Being a configuration based tool vs a code based tool makes it something that anyone can learn although that can take a bit of time depending on which tools you have used previously.
What do you dislike about Varicent?
It isn't the best UI from an admin perspective for building plan components. It takes a lot of getting used to and some trial and error (as most similar tools do as well)
What problems is Varicent solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single source where all variable compensation is calculated rather than multiple spread sheets.

Great Sales Comp Tool with Exciting Product Road Map
What do you like best about Varicent?
Varicent can easily handle the most complicated compensation plans. They're support teams are excellent and always ready to help where needed.
What do you dislike about Varicent?
The reporting is not great nor is it easy to build reports.
What problems is Varicent solving and how is that benefiting you?
Varicent took us out of our very complicated Excel spreadsheets for commissions. Now the reps see their deals and commissions in almost real time. Also, we're using Varicent for our ASC 606 calculations and commission accruals. Last, we are in the process of implementing ELT in the hopes that ELT will help with cleaning our data.

Varicent has helped modernize and improve customer experience.
What do you like best about Varicent?
Varicent has been a game changer for the inquiry process. We have simplified the process, added controls, improved admin review and processing of inquiries. Presenter adaptive is a game changer for reporting. The functionality has led to an enhanced customer experience and decreased the research process for admins.
What do you dislike about Varicent?
There are features in the inquiry workflow I would love to see. I understand there is significant benefit from working in the admin portal however that is not possible for my team. As a result of working in the sales portal we are unable to assign inquiries. If the message center could also allow for individual adjustments to columns it would improve our iuser experience.
