I like Ultimaker Cura because it is easy to use. The interface is simple and clean, so beginners can understand it quickly. It also has many useful settings to control print quality. Another good thing is that it works with many 3D printers. It helps me prepare models easily and gives good printing results.

One thing I dislike about Ultimaker Cura is that it can be a little slow sometimes, especially when opening large files. Some advanced settings are also confusing for beginners. It may take time to understand all the options. Also, sometimes the software crashes or lags, which can be frustrating.

Ultimaker Cura solves the problem of preparing 3D models for printing. 3D printers cannot understand raw design files directly, so Cura converts them into machine instructions (G-code).

This benefits me because it makes printing easy and accurate. It helps me adjust settings like speed, layer height, and support, which improves print quality. It also saves time by automatically slicing the model and reducing errors. Overall, it makes 3D printing more simple and reliable for me.

The ease of use of this product is something that really stands out to me and really helps getting started with 3D printing. It was easy to implement into our engineering ecosystem as well as outside of work as a hobby. Depending on how much you like 3D printing or rather how often, you'll be using this software pretty often. There are a ton of features and the fact that the community gets to add new add-ons is a plus.

Sometimes I don't like the G-code that it gives since there are paths that the printer head could do more efficiently, but I can't complain because there are many lines of g-code that I wouldn't want to go through.

It solves the problem of finding a user-friendly 3D printer slicer. You can start as a newbie and move up to intermediate and expert settings as you mature in the 3D printing field.

Pros are:

Simple interface, and it already knew my 3D printer when I used it the first time.

Not enough tooltips for the icons in place.

Caution: Under Ubuntu Linux, the Gnome desktop may get nuts after exiting, preventing you from emptying the trashbox.

Fix: Open a terminal ([ALT]-[F2]), and enter "r" to restart Gnome desktop.

The ease of use and the ease of implementation with the design programs we use, such as SolidWorks, FreeCAD, etc., and with all the 3D printing machines we have used, like the Prusa or the Witbox,

It does not allow modifying pieces and we have to use other programs like the Kisslacer program to fix the pieces.

It helps us with the printing of parts on a 3D printer. This being the one we like the most due to its ease of use.

Its an amazing software with almost no issues. One thing if I had to absoulutely point out would be that its resource intensive compared to softwares like Slic3r. Oh and on big models it crashes sometimes when you click slice, or the slicing progress bar gets stuck.

While Ultimaker Cura supports multiple extruders, the handling of multi-material prints can be more complex compared to dedicated multi-material slicing software. Users looking for extensive multi-material and multi-color printing capabilities may find some limitations in Ultimaker Cura's current feature set.

When I was new to this software, it was effortless to use because it has a recommended settings section, which helps you when you are a beginner. After gaining more experience, you can play with the settings, allowing you to create better things.

I don't dislike anything. Ultimaker Cura is straightforward software to use and allows you to do what you are expecting to do.

Please don't wait to start using it; you won't regret it.

I like this software because it allows me to have more control over what I want to create.

I like that it is very easy to use, very intuitive, you can set every specification for printing and you can save your profiles for each material. Also it has default profiles

There are a lot of hidden feautes and sometimes it is not very easy to find them. Also there are a lot of extra extension but sometimes they do not work very well

you can slice every object so you can print them, and the best of cura is that it is an open software so you can use it even with external printers.

This is an amazing, free software to 3D model items for successful 3D printing applications. After watching some youtube videos to guide me, the software became very easy to navigate.

I cannot point out any single factor that I disliked about Ultimaker Cura because I am still fairly new to 3D modeling and 3D printing. This is a widely used software, so any difficulties can be solved by posting on various forums to get feedback on any issue.

This allows me to design any 3D item in preparation for 3D printing it. My long term goal is to create designs that I can sell on various marketplaces and Cura helps make this possible.

I like that it for multiple printers. I've got several 3D printers & this slicer works nicely for most of them.

It was a bit confusing at 1st, the advanced options were, & I needed 1 of my other drafter friends to help me.

I needed a slicer that's generally open to use for various 3D printers & this fit perfectly.
