Good experience with UIlicious so far

What do you like best about UI-licious?

UIlicious is a low code automation headless browser testing tool. We could train our manual QA testers who have little to no coding skills to make use of UIlicious. The support we got from UIlicious was prompt and the staff are very competent.

What do you dislike about UI-licious?

We had a request for change around the wait time between UI components. This took a bit of time to be resolved.

What problems is UI-licious solving and how is that benefiting you?

Automated headless browser testing. Bots to be written and scheduled to launch to mimic humans clicking through browser pages. This benefited us to be used as a montoring mechanism to keep an eye on critical environments. UIlicious forms the backbone of our regression test efforts. Automated screen based testing gives us the confidence to have a quick turnaround in pre and post release UAT/smoke screen/regression testing efforts.

There are many awesome features offered with the tool like detailed reporting with screenshots, preview mode and instant support.

What do you dislike about UI-licious?

The best thing about UI-Licious is its ease of use. One can start writing tests without going into the depth of coding

Not really dislike. There are some desired custom features that we have discussed with the team and they are pretty accommodating in that sense.

a rising star in automated headless browser testing

I was the former head of engineering at a Scale-up which built apps on top of salesforce and using SF's Lightning Web Component framework for front-end UI. My team selected UIlicious as our automated headless browser testing solution. UIlicious could handle the special DOM manipulation required within the SF and LWC context. We also were well supported by the team at UIlicious and had a few calls with Shi Ling (the CTO, co-founder). She and her team are very competent and transparent in their future roadmap. That experience is so positive that I am bringing UIlicious to the current startup I have co-founded.

Simple and robust user journey testing

UI is very user friendly. Easy for beginners in automation.

Need to add more functions so that we can use this more efficiently. Also need to improve performance because sometime it starts lagging.

Robust tool to testing web applications

What do you like best about UI-licious?

As the name suggests , we can easily write tests to test our web applications in very simple manner so that critical error cases can be easily caught and user will not experience any unexpected errors while using our application .

What do you dislike about UI-licious?

It provides detailed results after testing complete and logs are also very detailed and useful , especially to when you want to check the history of previously ran tests .

It also provides a monitoring tab where we can easily monitor our tests running .
