Perfectly Reliable HR Tool with Web & App Flexibility
What do you like best about TriNet?
I find clocking in and out via web login or app very helpful. If one isn't working, I can switch to the other, which is super convenient. The initial setup of TriNet was perfectly easy for us.

What do you like best about TriNet?
I like TriNet's nice look and feel. The time-off requesting feature is easy to use and nice. The initial setup of TriNet was super easy.

A Dream for the 1 Person HR Team!
What do you like best about TriNet?
I have worked with a lot of PEOs with built in propritary systems but TriNet is the best I've ever had. The system is easy to use and administer; customer service is very responsive and knowledgeable.
What do you dislike about TriNet?
I don't have much I don't like about TriNet.

Everyone is so helpful with any question you may have. The trainings are a big PLUS!
What do you dislike about TriNet?
I have not had any down sides. Only positive experience.

Time and Attendance was the last project we added, and it has been a helpful tool for us. Overall, it’s been a solid addition to our setup.

Intuitive Use, but Lacks in Perks
What do you like best about TriNet?
I like how easy and intuitive it is to request PTO, see company holidays, and enroll in insurance with TriNet. I appreciate that I can view my W2 on the platform, making it simple to handle taxes. Having access to my PTO allows me to plan my vacation around work. The support chat has been really helpful whenever I have questions about my paycheck. Also, the initial setup of TriNet was very easy.
What do you dislike about TriNet?
TriNet perks kinda suck. I wish for a better restaurant selection and more attractive attraction tickets like aquarium or Six Flags, hotel discounts, etc. I remember my previous health insurance gave a healthcare premium discount or subsidy if I did a monthly health-related activity like an online nutrition workshop or getting a checkup.
What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use TriNet to easily request PTO, check company holidays, and enroll in insurance. It helps me track sick time, answers paycheck questions through helpful support chat, and makes tax filing and vacation planning around work simpler.

User-Friendly Platform with Seamless Payroll, Needs Better Integration Support
What do you like best about TriNet?
I like the ease of use of TriNet's platform. It's user-friendly, and I appreciate that automatic reminders are sent. If payroll is not officially approved, it will be automatically approved, which is a lifesaver. The initial setup was extremely easy. I love my rep, she responds extremely quickly and is always helpful with precise answers which solve my issues.
What do you dislike about TriNet?
I'm having issues integrating TriNet into my accounting system. I've tried to complete the integration more than once and I couldn't figure it out.
What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use TriNet for payroll, benefits, and expense management. It solves payroll taxes and expense reimbursement issues and provides affordable benefits. I like the ease of use, user-friendly interface, and automatic reminders; automatic approval of payroll is a lifesaver.

Trinet is HR's Easy Button.
What do you like best about TriNet?
We are a small company (under 20 employees) and TriNet saves us time and money (costs less that 1 FTE employee in HR). Of all the software programs I have used over the past 25+ years, TriNet has been the easiest and smoothest implementation and transition. I have used their customer support features often and they have always resolved my issues. Another plus is the wide variety of benefits that employees can choose from.
What do you dislike about TriNet?
The website could have an easier flow with all options available in a single drop down. On features I rarely use, I sometimes forget which menu (or which dashboard feature) houses the option. The only other part of the platform that needs some work is the Applicant Tracking System. Hopefully AI will enhance and smooth out this module in the future.
What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?
State Filings, saves me more than 8 hours of work each quarter.

What do you like best about TriNet?
I find TriNet easy to use, and I appreciate that everything is available on the platform. It saves me time by explaining the HR laws, which keep changing, and helps keep companies in compliance. I also value that client support is always available when needed.
What do you dislike about TriNet?
Account reps need to read the files before contacting clients when they are assigned. New account reps should understand each client's needs before contacting us.

What do you like best about TriNet?
I really appreciate TriNet’s service team because they are quick and helpful. With employees in 10 states, it's a relief to rely on TriNet as an expert to ensure we comply with state-specific laws and regulations, giving us peace of mind. I like that their time tracking feature allows employees to self-service, making it easy for managers to review and edit as needed. Being a small organization, they have also assisted us in finding suitable insurance options. TriNet has simplified our payroll process, significantly reducing the time it takes to prepare and process it over the past few years. The initial setup was hiccuped by emails going to quarantine, but besides that, it was exceptional. Their onboarding team was well organized, knowledgeable, efficient, and provided all the support we needed.
What do you dislike about TriNet?
We had issues with the employee review platform they have, so we didn't adopt it (when we tried it out a few years ago - it may have improved since). It wasn't really user-friendly. Another area of improvement is that company admins need visibility into all the tickets submitted for the organization to see what issues employees are reporting and ensure they're being resolved in the expected timeframe. Additionally, their time tracking platform is separate from payroll, requiring us to download a report from the time tracking platform and then upload it to payroll; they could make that a seamless experience.
What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?
TriNet handles onboarding, offboarding, and time tracking while ensuring compliance across states. It simplifies payroll and offers insurance options, saving processing time. Employees can self-service time tracking, and managers can easily review and edit.

The best part about using TriNet is how comprehensive its solutions are for a small company like ours. It quickly gave us payroll and HR support that would have been a real headache to manage on our own.
What do you dislike about TriNet?
It’s not that I dislike TriNet, but at times its Leave of Absence process can be confusing for both the employer and the employee.
What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?
When a company is small, it’s hard to build a team of HR and payroll experts, so you often end up hiring a generalist who only knows certain aspects of HR and payroll. With support from TriNet, that individual, whether they’re more of an HR specialist or a payroll specialist, can handle a lot more, and do it more effectively and efficiently.
