Touchplan is a construction collaboration platform for modern project teams. Its web-based, accessible-anywhere system serves superintendents, subcontractors, and project managers. Architects, project executives, and owners planning the build are also benefited from this software. It offers project scheduling where one can chart their projects from start to finish and even identify milestones. Users can also work backwards from vital milestones by utilizing phase planning. The tool also helps teams to execute the Last Planner System by the digitization of sticky notes. The responsibility and ownership of those sticky notes are retained by the team members throughout the project. They can boost the building process in real-time. Key features of team planning facilitate users to schedule team meetings and identify weaknesses and strengths within the team. This allows for quick removal of constraints that can prevent upcoming work. The system also provides weekly progress reports for better decision making.

No, Touchplan does not provide API.
The little comments and tutorials help a lot.
It is confusing the first time around with touch plan especially with zooming in.
This keeps everything organized and simple.
The ability to save and continually see the plan as it evolves
Set up can be daunting. It can take a while to get everyone in, swim lanes set up and to view on a small screen.
We used touchplan to be able to deliver training on pull plans remotely. We will continue to use it to be able to train our foreman on properly using it to be most effective with our GCs
easy to operate program with moving trades around
there is nothing that I don't like dislike
Schedule timing for other trades / Keeping the project on schedule
Interaction with subcontractors not physically present and allowing them to be a part of the discussion. NO MORE STICKIES!! That is a huge plus. It makes life so much easier for moving multiple tasks. The system is intuitive and easy to learn. Our team has had top notch service from Touchplan from setup to everyday use.
I can't think of any immediate dislikes. Touchplan continues to improve and evolve the system.
Touchplan saves so many headaches around coordination and improves the project's performance.
Beneficial in terms of subcontractor buy-in. They feel empowered and responsible for owning the task they committed to.
It’s super easy to use especially in a virtual environment.
Lack of built in logic and ties between phases for task handoffs
Ability to communicate and schedule tasks without human interaction
The way you can control every activity (at each detailed level) is pretty good. It saves us lots of time. You can have lots of useful reports for your crew, to make them understand the weekly work easily, and you can also evaluate the work once it's done.
Its functionality as a communication channel works pretty good. Every one knows what task they have to do, when they have to do it, and even details such as duration and crew size can be useful.
The user interface is is great, and the touch functionality is so accurate for the daily work. Is so practical and easy for the user to create and in general, manage the tickets. This is one of characteristics i like the most of Touchplan.
I am very satisfied with Touchplan in the overall.
Maybe the way of connecting dependent activities can be improved, as well as some of the options for generating and printing reports. No more.
This is an excellent app for construction companies.
Once you've tried it, there's no going back. You can save time, prepares good reports to show your crew the coming work, and after that, you can easily evaluate it.
We carrying the Last Planner Method for our construction projects. We used to do that in excel, but now with TP, we're saving lots of time.
The To-Do list with your trade and promise dates to give to field/Last Planer to work off
That you can’t view other trade promise dates to foresee any constraints or that everyone is on time as promised to efficiently schedule manpower.
Most realistic and accurate way to create job site schedules with everyone accountability on screen. Procure any lead time items in most realistic time when needed.
Makes Last Planner principles possible for teams that are forced to work remotely. The interface is user friendly and easy to learn. The work product is live and dynamically managed, rather than being put on a wall at the start of a job and then being neglected when things get going.
Very Complex and large projects may be limited by the number of swim lanes - forcing multiple projects with multiple plans to be developed to Phase and Pull a single site's work. I wish the size of the swim lane was adjustable by all... but understand that could cause issues in practice. I would love to see a way to condense and make legible a screen shot type version of the TouchPlan as it appears on the app, vs the look ahead and other reports that list the tasks in a different way.
I use Whiting-Turner's platform and am a subcontractor user for them. REC Solar and Duke Energy Renewable Corp should be using this extensively and I am advocating for it... but have not been able to get executive sponsorship.
Facilitates more collaborative conversations. Highlights constraints and impacts to it. Makes the work we do t Phase Plan at the start more meaningful and useful as we continue to Pull Plan as we work the project. Balance crews and schedule and use the manpower features to identify and smooth out peaks and valleys in manpower.
I love being able to add tickets and drag and drop where they go.
Zooming in and out to see the entire schedule duration can be cumbersome.
This software greatly expedites schedule creation and trade coordination.
Day two of the training. There are some people that surround use in our lives that have such a wealth of knowledge. Really liked this day
Nothing that I disliked. Maybe mix the speakers in with the training day
The way to go
