Timecounts Is Super User Friendly!
What do you like best about Timecounts?
Timecounts is really user friendly! It offers a Help Center with guided videos that can help guide you through learning how to operate and navigate the system. Even better if you need extra guidance there are Timecounts agents on standby ready to help you with a simple click on the always visible messenger icon! Another great attribute of Timecounts is you can sign up volunteers that are less confident doing things online, those that feel less tech savvy. Once you know the availability of your volunteers you can begin choosing what shifts works best for them so long as they sign up with their email. Shortly after the volunteer will receive a conformation email on their end. The icons on the side of page are also there to guide you to different pages you may need, whether it's creating an event, building your schedule, checking analytics, checking or sending a message. Lastly, TImecounts is open to suggestions to improve the system making it easier for all!
What do you dislike about Timecounts?
Currently it is not possible to filter which volunteers are signed up to volunteer but have not confirmed a shift. Meaning it is difficult to pinpoint specific volunteers that you would like to encourage to volunteer to fulfill their minimum shift requirements. You would have to manually go though all your volunteers. On a bright note, Timecounts is making the necessary changes to improve that part.
What problems is Timecounts solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Timecounts to message all my volunteers that shifts are available so they may begin signing up. I also use Timecounts to create events such as orientations and volunteer parties. Lastly it's a great resource for information, seeing how many volunteers worked last year versus this year and how many volunteers hours were completed in total last year compared to this year etc.

Amazing customer support and their product is getting better and better.
What do you like best about Timecounts?
The customer support is unparallel. I have had a lot of questions that were answered or addressed between 10 minutes and 24 hours. Very impressive.
What do you dislike about Timecounts?
There are still some bugs and not fully rolled out capabilities that will truly make this platform great. Optimization and customizable analysis would be very helpful.
Recommendations to others considering Timecounts?
Ask lots of questions and go through the help page FAQ section.
What problems is Timecounts solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to streamline and automate our volunteers. We are seeing the benefits of freeing up time of our team to focus on the programming and content of our nonprofit.

Qualify/Unqualify' for specific roles alongside the 'tagging' (and now checklist function) mean that it is easy to track a volunteer's application progress and make safeguarding and training more secure! Complex scheduling made easy
What do you like best about Timecounts?
The ability to allow different volunteers with different skills access to a variety of events, training, schedules and venues.
What do you dislike about Timecounts?
The functions are regularly updating which is a positive long-term but can sometimes throw you a little while you are trying to do things. Better phone/tablet functionality would be really useful. Email layout in the Communications can be a bit confusing at times.
Recommendations to others considering Timecounts?
Absolutely heading in the right direction.
What problems is Timecounts solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staff are incredibly helpful and very quick to respond.

TimeCounts makes it easy to share my organization's schedule with community partners and volunteers
What do you like best about Timecounts?
I love that I can add volunteer agreements, waivers of liability, media release consents and volunteer availability. I like that I can duplicate events and export lists of contacts. I like that I can manipulate the home hub pages to add links to my organization's various projects, websites and social media accounts. Aside from volunteer sign-up, I use timecounts as a way to display our schedule so community partners know where our mobile shower services for those experiencing homelessness on O'ahu will be weekly. I love how responsive your team is and I am excited that timecounts wants to feature our volunteer platform!
What do you dislike about Timecounts?
I wish there was a smartphone application! Sometimes the interface is very slow and the mail does not automatically mark itself as read once opened. The way the messaging system lists messages does not flow in an intuitive order. It is very hard for me to tell what someone's most recent response was.
What problems is Timecounts solving and how is that benefiting you?
Slow and does not let you imbed your own forms.

Community Connections Coordinator
What do you like best about Timecounts?
I like that the interface is simple and uncluttered, it is fairly user friendly, I also like that you can switch and view the website as a volunteer rather than as admin, creating new postings and forms is easy.
What do you dislike about Timecounts?
I dislike that there is a lot of jumping around from page to page when you need to manually track volunteer hours. Adding them in one place and approving them in another, for example. I wish it was a bot more streamlined.
What problems is Timecounts solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we do not have a dedicated volunteer coordinator, Timecounts allows us to track all of our volunteers in one place, making it much easier to report on the hours contributed and number of volunteers engaged. It is also helpful for the volunteers to be able to view their schedule and accept or decline shifts, as well as apply easily for new opportunities.

This program keeps track of nearly everything and the costumer service is fantastic
What do you like best about Timecounts?
Since we are a growing nonprofit, we have a lot on our plate. Timecounts helps take the burden off of us by keeping track of volunteer information and hours. Also, the employees are very friendly and will help with any questions you might have. The ability to have different shifts at our volunteer opportunities is also a huge bonus.
What do you dislike about Timecounts?
When a group wants to volunteer together on a certain day, it can be a little difficult for everyone to enter their name individually. If there was a way for a group to sign up a set amount of people without each person having to sign up, it would make this program even easier.
What problems is Timecounts solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting volunteers the information they need can be difficult. However, with Timecounts, we were able to create an information page so that our volunteers know exactly what to expect and how they can help.

Very user-friendly and easy to organise people and track time
What do you like best about Timecounts?
I love the aesthetic and that it's very easy for new users to understand and sign up to things. I also like the hourly log feature and that I can view each volunteers' individual hours over time
What do you dislike about Timecounts?
That I cannot repeat shifts or make the same shift continue weekly for the same people - like to assign a whole month of shifts I have to add every one manually which can be a little long/
Recommendations to others considering Timecounts?
Really easy way of tracking and logging hours!
What problems is Timecounts solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to create roles and shift for new volunteers. I wanted a database that wasn't excel based, and could easily store volunteer information as well as assign shifts, and allow new people to sign up independently. This has been extremely helpful for both, as it allows others to view the available shifts and allow me to designate shifts to people. It's also helpful to have a secure database of details and personal information.

Clear and organized
What do you like best about Timecounts?
I love this volunteer management system because it allows me to see who is joining us for shifts so easily. I also really appreciate how easy it is to communicate directly with our volunteers, and create once-off and ongoing volunteer opportunities.
What do you dislike about Timecounts?
This is likely because we have the free version, but we are unable to copy shifts to repeat throughout the entire month. This just makes it a longer process to set up new shift calendars.
Recommendations to others considering Timecounts?
I would love a way to easy copy shifts that we have repeating each month. I also manage a few ongoing volunteer opportunities that last longer than 3 months, so it would be great to be able to extend beyond 3 months for each ongoing volunteer calendar.
What problems is Timecounts solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have always used a shift management system for our ongoing volunteer opportunities, but Timecounts looks significantly better than its competitors and it has both outward facing and internal systems that help manage and recruit volunteers through the same system.
