You can just set it and forget it, and it takes care of sync regardless of whether you visit the site or use the app. You can set granular preferences for what content to sync and which way it should sync (or both ways).

Retail price is a little high, so sign up for their mailing list to find out about discounts. Oh, and I had a problem with time zones once, but they fixed that.

Look at other options, but definitely try this one. Others don't seem to have it nailed.

My coworkers all use iCloud calendar, but I use Google calendar. This solved the problem of getting their iCloud events to show up on my calendar. Now I don't have to log into the iCloud website to see calendar events from my team.

Software is magic, it runs quietly in the background and only needs to be touched when passwords change. This is much better than a shared view of calendars and is essential for anyone using booking functionality or with lots of incoming meetings.

No complaints, this works great and I have recommended it to +10 people.

The product does exactly what it promises - it keeps my work, on-prem Exchange calendar in sync with my Google Calendar and allows for two-way binding or one-way binding. This way I can either choose to sync just from Exchange to G-Calendar or I can choose to allow changes from either system to reflect on the other one.

Changing passwords for Exchange requires I re-authenticate. It's not painful and I believe that the authentication token goes bad because of security rules built into Exchange, which are outside of SyncGene's control. I can only sync my primary Google Calendar and I am unable to select other calendars.

It absolutely does what is advertised. This solution consistently works and more importantly, when the connection between calendars is broken, you receive an email letting you know to fix it. I know my schedule is a reflection of current reality at both home and work because of SyncGene.

My work calendar is just a partial view of my availability. Family events (like picking up the kids, parent-teacher conferences, etc.) also need to make it onto my work calendar so that my schedule is a true reflection of my availability, both at home and work. By allowing my family members to block time on my calendar, I can be sure that I won't miss out on an important family event that happens in the middle of the workday.

I'm a consultant. I have multiple calendars with multiple clients. I also do MS to GSuite Migrations. This helps with both. Now, not only does my one preferred calendar become the source of truth, but I COULD utilize this service in bulk during the transition period when clients don't want multiple calendars.

It's probably a bit expensive if you just have two lightly used calendars. It's a tough sell for an across the enterprise deployment. Chunks of back-office workers just do not have the usage to require a license but a bit more than the free. Also, I'd like to know more about how this interacts with accounts that get closed. If a user is terminated, but they sync this to their personal account, will SyncGene recognize this and delete the data on sync like a Dropbox or Box does?

Ask what other customers are using this for, there may be more value than I see - though I see quite a bit.

If you're moving from Exchange to Gsuite or viceversa, or in an M&A, there's a time period where you may have multiple calendars. This, is killer, especially for executives. MSPs could use this when their engineers have accounts at multiple clients.

The user interface is very confusing and difficult to use compared to its competitors i.e Contacts+. in the free version it allows doesn't display your contacts from different sources where you can individually manage and edit them, while all these features exist on relatively many competing software and services

its a good contact sync app but I would recommend contacts+ which is much better

What syncgene allows me is to create a backup of all my personal and business contacts.

Many appointments are already automatically recognized and saved by the contents of the mails. This works perfectly and we save a lot of time. The dates are always entered correctly and the dashboard offers a good overview.

Some users can plan appointments together internally but for some employees this function does not appear and it is not possible to exchange internal mails.

Check all appointments at a glance and thus better plan daily processes. It is also possible to plan ahead and to push certain appointments together and generally save more time and have a better overview of the next due dates.
