This is a good application currently in market used for storage. The look and feel of the application is great making the user experience awesome. Moreover the application is very easy to use.

Storpool application we used for was for a client. Lot of features were disabled. So we did not have the chance to fully use the application. But for the features we had access to there was nothing to complain about

Awesome application

While supporting our client we were using this application to fully manage our storage.

StorPool allows us to access any content in both offline and cloud storage. Exceptional performance, Proactive Support, Hybrid-SSD/All-Flash, Commodity Hardware, Low Cost of Entry. StorPool's uploading speed is impressive and very resourceful. We appreciate the ease of administration, especially the CLI option. We respect the exceptional level of support. The design and architecture of StorPool made it a great product. Because it is impossible to coordinate thousands concerning downtime, storage is essential for cloud providers.

We use StorPool Storage in our OpenStack Cloud to measure the performance of our applications. It has enough room to accommodate any amount of content. It's used for performance testing and application development, and as a result, it has a high throughput requirement. It does not yet have the capability of supporting distributed filesystems or object storage systems. It will be necessary to add another layer.

StorPool is revolutionizing the way data is stored and accessed. At a reasonable price, it offers high-quality performance and storage capacity. Cloud service providers or managed service providers that offer storage or infrastructure can use StorPool.

StorPool has replaced multiple storage systems with one cluster. It reduces power consumption, increases performance, and decreases storage switch costs. StorPool has one of the best scanning processes to meet security standards. Scale-up and scale-out at predictable costs with low capital expenses upfront and competitive pricing in the future.

StorPool has both cloud and offline access of any content stored. Again, StorPool has packages that suit or fitdifferent customer base. The uploading speed from StorPool is remarkable and resourceful. Finally, StorPool has et guides and tutorials that actualize the entire usage of the program.

StorPool has the appropriate space that manages content of all shapes, more so the sensitive one to avoid companies from collapsing. Again, StorPool has made accessing process simple and favorable to every player due to its cloud and offline accessibility.

StorPool has a clear commitment to controlling space. More so, StorPool has transformed and advanced the storage processes and their methods of accessing them.

StorPool is a well-organized application with suitable space and simple access methods that bring players and staff close to the business. More so, StorPool makes one of the safest scanning processes to guarantee the required security standards.

No current support for vVols, dedupe, compression which isn't a big deal more of a "nice to have"

Scale-Up and Scale-Out at a predictable cost with a low capital expense up-front and competitive pricing going forward. Scaling is as easy as adding a few commodity flash drives!

We like the ease of management best, especially with the CLI option. They also provide a built in JSON-API which makes monitoring the cluster a lot easier. Finally, we greatly appreciate the high level of support.

The graphical interface shows monitoring and stats, but not operations.

When eApps launched it’s Virtual Cloud Server platform in 2011, Xen was the most widely used choice for the underlying virtualization. Since that time, however, KVM has emerged as the leading virtualization technology. In order to provide the best possible hosting service for our customers, we made the decision to convert from Xen to KVM.

One of the attractions of StorPool was that it is a very technology-focused company and has highly talented individuals. We are confident, not only that the product was the right product, because of the design and the architectural aspects, but also that the team behind it was very engaged and had the skills and ability to support a service provider. For a cloud provider, the storage is a system which cannot be taken down, even for maintenance, because it’s impossible to coordinate thousands of customers regarding downtime. With StorPool, however, we don’t have to worry about that.

The graphical interface is for monitoring and stats, but not for operations.

Our operations and development teams were fire-fighting storage-related problems in a large portion of their time. I.e. storage is critical to the cloud, it is the biggest challenge. For a service provider, it is very difficult to get a good storage system that’s able to deal with the demands of all different customers in parallel. It has very different requirements compared to a traditional storage system. Also, many of our customers are leading global enterprises like Deutsche Boerse Group, SIEMENS, CERN, European Space Agency, and many more. We cannot make any mistakes. Storage has to be reliable and fast, with prompt and professional support, as it is one of the most mission-critical systems of the Cloud.

The performance of hundreds of thousands of IOPS and throughput of tens of GB/s. Some other factors such as cost-efficiency, implementation, and support also helped StorPool stand out in the decision-making process.

Support for VMware is with iSCSI at this point. This is fine, but we're waiting for the full VMware integration they are working on.

Coreix’s customers now benefit from increased up-time and availability and flash-performance, delivered by features such as high availability and live migration and SSD/NVMe support. Anyone who needs these benefits should have a look at them.

StorPool did very well and help us a lot. The main advantages are:

- Has highest performances with the low initial costs to hosts more VPS on the same system.

- Support with better SLAs.

- Solves all troubles related to our Cloud VPS services

We now have a high performance shared storage system which enable us to run on private cloud. Our previous system used bare-metal hardware, which provided high performance but inflexible management. Now we have best of both worlds, SSD class performance with flexibility of a private cloud system.

Actually, there is nothing which we do not like. StorPool offers superior performance at affordable prices, so there is nothing to complain about.

I like the ability to query within the distributed storage unit, cluster and raid to avoid loss of files within the server

The support does not guarantee much for troubleshooting, I have to solve problems on my own.

The first thing is the activity, my system is always online and when an error occurs in a node, the system responds automatically, I always have safe data and query for all files.
