Whenever I'm working with MySQL databases I will always use SQL Buddy, simple, great UI and powerful, there's no need for something more complicated or server-heavy. If you're not doing something rather complicated with your databases, i can tell you it will fulfill your needs.

The webdesign could use some work, it should work in as many screens sizes as possible. It lacks of query auto completion, but as i said, if you aren't doing something really complicated with your databases, it should fit.

If you need a handy, easy to use and really light app to manage a MySQL database, give this one a try, it will do the trick, you'll get hooked to it in no time.

There should be a responsive web design template, and they should keep it up to date, maybe give it some no-sql db functionalities.

Many mysql management suites can be a little too much for what you might need. SQL Buddy can fulfil basic sql tasks in a minimalistic and simple interface. You should give it a shot, no regrets.

It's plain simple to use. You upload a folder to your desired host, open a web browser pointing such location and voila!

At the login screen you setup HOST, User and Password. Then, the magic happens. User management, database data browsing and editing databases structures, importing and exporting data, and finally queries.

Definitely a full fledged low consumption web app to manage your databases.

Source code hasn't been maintained in a while, although it's fully functional right now, it could use some updates. Maybe a responsive web design is desired by users, so you can use it in your phone / tablet browser with ease.

SQL Buddy is a super handy little app for seeing a birds eye view of your databases. Would I use it in production? No. But when it comes to the small tasks that need to be done when developing a web app, it hands down beats the heavyweights like PHPMyAdmin.

The setup time is tiny, the UI is clean, it uses asynchronous requests for many of the operations making it fast – which is really the key feature when developing something with a database backend. You can easily reset and view data far faster than a DBs command-line tools or a heavier one.

Sometimes its relative lack of features can leave you searching the menus for a command, when you end up having wasted that time and needing to use a bigger tool anyway.

It greatly sped up my time spent managing and creating new database prototypes in development, and the viewing of the output of SQL queries in preparation for putting them into my code.

It's great to be able to manage my SQL tables on the web. It's cross platform and much simpler than using a command line interface.

There aren't many things that I dislike about this software. But the look of the interface is a bit hard to use and not entirely nice looking.

SQL buddy is great, but make sure your SQL tables are secure and not vulnerable to attackers.

Like other it needs to be update and upgrade regularly so it can be comparitable with different systems like mobile phones and tablets. So a regular check is needed.

Developing database server side code from a shared php server

Lightweight web application, easy to install and use it, works with many MySQL versions, keyboard shortcuts. You can embed it in any php web server and use it, the ui is very clean and minimalist, very handy tool for fast web applications development.

Poorly import/export support, only have two visual themes, it doesn't have query autocompletation. It doesn't view well on small screens.

SQL Buddy can be a very usefull tool for situations when you need to do basic tasks quickly like fix errors or check some tables, it can be a great option if you don't have too much experience working with MySQL.

It comes really handy if you want some quickly application for MySQL management, common db tasks can be really easy to do.
