The staff at Specright provide great customer support. They have dedicated resources to help with address business needs thoughout the process.

My experience to date has been positive and I currently don't have a dislike

Specright is managing our packaging bill of material enabling us to report on the packaging details assoicated to our product.

The quick and efficient support from the support team.

Sometimes triggers do not flow correct so I would need to keep refreshing the page.

Specifications in a formalized matter, no more excel sheets.

We are in the onboarding stage and the Specright Team has been so helpful. They listen ( really listen) and offer advice and solutions to help us make our program exactly what we need and more! Nick , Jon , Adam and Ken make the experience fun. Specification creation, tracking and maintenance can be tiresome and time consuming. Specright is certain to make that work a better and more accurate experience for us all.

It is 2023 and Specright has delivered as promised. The anticipated purpose has expanded beyond original scope to include several departments and uses. Learning new capabilities and how they can benefit our company has been fun and productive. My favorite thing is being able to customize as needed without being an IT guru. The support staff at Specright are easy to talk to and really do their best to make the program whatever WE need, even if it is something unique.

The initial transfer and architecture was and is a bit stressful. Specright has so much to offer it is hard to isolate the right areas to start. I am anticipating a lot of “hey why did your department get this and not us”!

The only thing I wish was a bit different is having more tutorials available - but what they have has been helpful.

We have a system that has many parts. Trouble is not all the parts “talk” to each other and are scattered in many programs and departments. Spreadsheets, databases and ERP. Specright is our way to localize all that data and make it easily accessible and keep it all up to date.

It works!!!

Ease of use with the program. I have had quite a few demos on the platform for a few modules, but we are focused on one at the movement. Very versatile platform that has a ton of has cases. My advice would be to sit down with the team and learn about a few specific modules.

Nothing at the moment. First time launching a platform like this for myself at a company so it has been a learning curve. SpecRight has been super helpful with it though.

Siloed data that is managed at a plant level or not even in the plants. A way to bring our data into one location so we can better manage it as a team. Will help build reports and show what we are missing.

Specright is not only a specifiction managmenet tool but is a fully functional and interconnected information management system for Quality, NPD, and more.

Not many cons to the software. Improvemnts are always being made to improve perofrmance.

Specright allows us to have all the products and raw material specification information in one place so it is easy to retreive and manage.

Seamless collaboration between various teams using the same data

Specright emphasizes standard data structures to ensure good data in and good data out.

They are a newer and smaller company compared to other companies in similar areas, but the company is growing in brand recognition.

They are helping solve fundamental data issues that make it difficult and slow to manage day to day business. This will free up a large amount of time and capacity.

Specright offers a customizable specification management system that makes data more accessible and the lookup process easier overall. This system works for products and packaging and can integrate multiple business units to ultimately work cohesively together.

I have not found any downsides of Specright at this point.

Spec/Drawing management while also incorporating pricing data to track and use for current projects. We currently have an extensive database of drawings with pricing associated, but those files do not live in the same document. Having this information available in one spot, as well as having the drawings accessible, has been very beneficial.

I like how you can put all product information in one page and update it as needed/approve.

That it's hard to find a list of all items that exist on spec right and unless you have the full title it won't find similar items.

Solving: Easy access, easy way to approve for everyone.

Cal Poly's Packaging program introduced Specright's Specification Data Management into its curriculum a few years back. Together with this platform and PackSight (Packaging Test Planning & Reporting for ISTA Standards), our students are being trained on digitizing and linking specifications together towards creating visibility and traceability across CPG supply chains. This experience provides tremendous opportunities for our students towards comprehending the packaging landscape as they become professionals in this recession-proof industry.

Our program has yet to discover a feature or service component that would hold our students from engaging and learning from this valuable educational tool.

Our students learn the value of optimal specification management through the conceptualization-to-validation process of CPG-related packaging.
