I used Sonix to transcribe 16 videos, each ranging between 1 and 20 minutes long. The transcripts were created very quickly, and the transcription accuracy was excellent. I appreciated the pay-as-you-go option, as I will not need the service in the foreseeable future.

Sonix is a very user-friendly platform, and they are very transparent about what is included in the monthly fee. There were no surprises when I uploaded multiple recordings for transcription, as I expected to incur an additional fee at a reduced rate due to my monthly subscription. It's transcribed very fast and is quite accurate.

Sonic is the best service I've found…

Sonic is the best service I've found for transcribing Portuguese, hands down. Their site is easy to use and extremely quick. Their transcriptions are accurate and even let you know how confident they are with their transcription in each portion of your video/audio file. Very good site and service and I highly recommend them.

Translation of a Vietnamese woman's brief speech

I made a recording of a woman speaking Vietnamese while in country in January and needed a translation. I found Sonix on the web and gave it a try. Uploaded the 150 mb file and got a Vietnamese written transcript in a couple of minutes, including uploading time. Then, I requested an English translation of the Vietnamese transcript. I had it in a minute. Flawless and exactly what I needed. I am doing a public presentation today on my visit to Vietnam to discuss the country's resurrection after the fall of Saigon 50 years ago. The brief speech by the Vietnamese woman was meant to be the closer for the program. Thanks to Sonix I have it!
