What do you like best about Similarweb?

I find Similarweb quite powerful and detailed, which is crucial for my research on different websites. I appreciate that it's easily available and the Chrome plugin enhances its usability. The auto data features and the ability to make comparisons are pretty cool. I also value the SEO features that allow me to understand what drives traffic down to a granular level, whether it's for our own website or competitors. Overall, I like it a lot and it works very well.

There are a lot of features, and it can be hard to navigate or figure out what might be useful if you don’t use it often. That said, over time it has become much more intuitive.

It’s helping us decide where to make our investments. For example, checking site traffic is important because it allows us to identify whether we should invest in a partner or not.

What do you like best about Similarweb?

It helps me compare competitors, track keyword performance, and understand AI traffic. The prompt samples and other tools are useful for AEO optimisation. It’s also easy to set up and navigate, similar to GA4. And if I get stuck, the chatbot is genuinely helpful.

What do you dislike about Similarweb?

Its a bit pricy if you dont have much time to use it. So many features can be overwhelming and some under a separate payment can be frustrating when you dont understand what the feature does

What problems is Similarweb solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use it to compare our traffic with competitors. It helps me show my boss why we need certain changes, because I can clearly point to what competitors are doing. It’s also less work to pull the data I want than in GA4.

My favorite prospecting tool.

What do you like best about Similarweb?

Ability to hover over the extension to see monthly and YoY traffic, upload contacts from site and Linkedin to Salesforce, AI meeting prep, and capability to find new green space accounts in Similarweb Pro.

What do you dislike about Similarweb?

Sometimes the extension does not load to show site traffic but very rarely does this happen, can be hard to make the pop up go away on one side of the screen, and it can have outdated / wrong phone #s occasionally.

What problems is Similarweb solving and how is that benefiting you?

MAJOR TIME SAVINGS!! Also having the ability to see the website traffic is one of the most important things about my sales role to identify top accounts -- being able to find that out in one-click is invaluable. The AI capabilities meeting prep and search intelligence insights are huge to prep for calls faster with limited bandwidth.
