The amount of actions that the Virto feature brings is amazing, they cover pretty much all eventualities and business requirements that come along. Particularly like the permission actions. The help pages on the Virto website are extremely useful too.

I have not been able to copy and move a document set using the Virto actions.

Definitely take a look at all the actions included and trial the software. It is well worth the investment.

Virto is pretty quick to learn, beneficial for simple Kanban flows and team organizations. The support team is also responsive and helpful. You get all of that for a reasonable license fee.

You have to use it from within SharePoint, so the UI is less than intuitive. If you need to do things like tightly integrate with custom RESTful APIs (in both directions), or have boards with multiple lanes that each have different columns and flows, there's not enough support for that.
