Screendragon is a solid workflow tool that offers the functions and capabilities that small, medium, and large companies need to succeed.

More bulk-editing tools were always a key piece of feedback I shared. This year, though, Screendragon released a bulk ingest form, and it resolved many of the friction points I’d been running into.

We use screendragon to create copy and digital assets for our ecommerce partners.

What I like most is that it keeps everything in one place, projects, tasks, estimates, and time tracking. It helps the team stay organized and aligned.

Sometimes it’s not very intuitive for new users, and some features take time to understand.

It helps manage projects and track work more clearly. Having visibility of tasks, timelines, and hours makes it easier to coordinate with the team and keep projects on track.

I really like the estimating function and ability to create new jobs and tasks at the click of a button. This will save our team a lot of time. The Screendragon team have been professional to work with and very responsive. Jack, Aisling, Sheffali, Michelle, Sean and Andrew have delivered good customer service and have been happy to support our platform customisation requests and supported our integration with our ERP system.

The proofing tool needs some work to make it as good as some other competitors

I have experienced that the workflow of Screendragon is a lot slicker than what we have used in the past. It saves admin by automation throughout, and the system overall is clear and intuitive for users to carry out what they need to do. The whole look and feel is lovely, and it's really intuitive, allowing users to know where they are at within the workflow at all times. I particularly like the estimate function and the breakdown area of the project as it allows me as a project manager to view the budget at a glance without the need for using a report. Then when you have completed an estimate, it takes the tasks into the work list and allows you to assign resources from there, and it's very slick. Additionally, the initial setup of Screendragon was amazing, really clear, and the team is just super lovely!

I think the proofing system could be improved and the timesheet view would be a lot better in terms of the UI.

I find Screendragon's workflow slicker than past systems, saving admin time through automation. It's clear, intuitive, and lets me view budgets quickly with features like the estimate function and task assignment.

Screendragon is a great product for resource and project management. It has full featured capabilities for project management but also allows that information of someone assigned to a project to be aggregated to understand the overall availability of that person across multiple projects. Along with this insight into resourcing available from projects, there are multiple methods of integrating data from sources outside of Screendragon to reduce the administrative overhead of managing multiple iterations of information across multiple systems as well as being able to receive data from Screendragon for any reporting\data mining purposes. The Screendragon team is a responsive partner in coming up with solutions, accepting feedback and overall communication. The product has capabilities for asset review\proofing and future staff planning as well. The software is flexible in its workflow customization allowing the application to support a number of different ways of working. Overall it's a strong product and I highly recommend the application as well as the Screendragon team.

Some of the features such as the asset approval\proofing module are not as robust or have as many capabilities as dedicated products in this space. But it is continually iterated and new features added over time as well as the ability to have an all-in-one solution. Some project management solutions have better organizing features but the product is constantly evolving and client feedback is strongly welcomed by the team to continue to improve the product.

Screendragon allows us to manage projects to budget and view impacts of adjustments to resources on a project. It also allows us a view into resource availability across the enterprise allowing the ability to better balance resources assigned to projects and availability for future projects.

The UI is great. It's easy to create profiles for others and to make changes to certain areas. I've been able to support on a daily basis, on the admin side, and training others has been great. I think users enjoy the chat feature and how easy it is to get feedback.

Some of the buttons can be unclear as far as the routes they take as an admin. There isn't a way to cancel admin processes if pressed mistakenly.

It has streamlined the workflow process, especially for localization. I think it prevents lots of emails and organizes communications properly.

I appreciate that Screendragon can be spun up quickly and nearly completely customized to your needs. Whereas some other workflow systems require you to remain within the confines of their standard structure and path and will not allow you to go back a step, Screendragon is highly customizable and even allows the admin to go to specific steps to make changes if needed. Having support who are creative in how different business problems can be tackled with changes to the config is integral to that and we've had great experience with our customer success manager and config team.

It would be helpful to have more consult around changes requested. While Screendragon can typically make any changes requested, sometimes a change isn't the best for futureproofing the workflow. While we can test changes to determine any downstream effects , an initial consult or conversation around changes would help us balance out the pros and cons, especially if they can share what has worked for other clients in similar scenarios.

Screendragon allows us to streamline review and approvals of marketing assets. Through Screendragon, we can reduce the load on our legal approvers by putting all approvals in one place that they can easily access. On assets that have multiple approval groups, using the annotation viewer to collaborate reduces time spent. Rather than going back and forth on email threads, approvers can view timestamped comments on the assets.

Little autonomy, it would be interesting to be a bit more autonomous in certain areas.

Firstly the platform itself, and the core benefit to Screendragon from my perspective is the endless options for customisation; we had a very specific brief and have managed to create something that is the perfect fit between our other platforms. The custom build enables anyone to build a platform that is simple and dynamic, and allows users to follow only the intended workflow which instantly improves proces consistency and speed.

Secondly, the implementation team have been phenominal in helping to get us to the end product, and ultimately launch day, kudos to Jack, Anna & Sean! My thinking has been challenged (in the best way), and it really has felt like a team effort to deliver this project which is so refreshing.

The only thing that I could critique to date, would be the complexity of the admin console and settings; but I fully anticipated this as our build is so bespoke and I'm sure this will feel more comfortable with time.

The Screendragon team is a great partner that I enjoy working with. One area where Screendragon shines is it’s workflow management. They are able to understand our varying needs and created multiple workflows to meet them. Their ability to develop complex workflows really helped our team streamline process and push the work through seamlessly. We are able to quickly see who reviewed items, their comments and sign offs. The team is helpful making system updates as our needs are everchanging. Once a person is trained in the system, it is user friendly and logical for the users.

We would love AI functionality, yet I hear that is in the works now. My personal wish list is a simple easy to use report writing tool.

Screendragon provides us with project management from intake to file release. It provides the tool for project requesters to easily submit their requests; a vehicle to review and approve the assets created within the request and a method to release the final files to the vendors.
