ScoutDNS is easy to setup and use. The interface is also easy to use.

I have only had a few support issues, but the support was not always fast and I had to follow up in order to get the issue solved.

I have filtered internet access for our students and staff. I don't have to worry about it - I can set it and forget it.

It really is one of the best web filter and DNS security products available on the market today. We've tried a variety of competitors products and ScoutDNS was the first and only product that has stood the test of time.

ScoutDNS features an intuitive, visually-rich interface that is straightforward to navigate and allows users to efficiently leverage its advanced capabilities. The dashboards have proven especially valuable during our quarterly business review meetings with clients. Designed with managed service providers in mind, ScoutDNS offers robust flexibility in both features and branding. Additionally, the wide range of available categories enhances its adaptability to diverse needs. ScoutDNS is actively improving its interface, features and listens to our input which is great to see from a company. Support is also fast.

It is hard to identify significant areas for improvement, as the performance thus far has been commendable. However, if one aspect were to be highlighted, enhancing the API to enable integration with additional programs such as SOC or SIEM would be beneficial. Notably, this area is already under development and is expected to be addressed in the near future.

ScoutDNS offers an enhanced layer of security for our clients while browsing the internet. It restricts access to over 60 distinct categories, providing greater flexibility compared to other solutions we have evaluated. Additionally, ScoutDNS addresses the need for DNS protection for remote users or laptops outside the primary client's network. Its dynamic features effectively resolve this challenge.

ScoutDNS is easy to use and provides the necessary options to support our clients. The software is easy to configure, can be disabled or uninstalled from the portal, logs activity, and has flexibility in the options for blocking/allowing sites and categories. Customer support has been wonderful, even including help from the Founder/CEO!

Site could be laid out slightly better and have a dark mode implementation.

ScoutDNS allows us to provide our clients with DNS filtering of malicious content and specific categories of websites that they would not like users to utilize. Some of the categories cover pornography, gambling, criminal skills, hate speech, and more. As well, certain web application categories can be blocked.

Very easy onboarding with direct support to answer any questions with billing or implementation. Very reasonable price per agent. They are also quite receptive to feedback and the platform is evolving quickly.

Some small bugs here and there in the web portal.

Honestly, there’s nothing significant to dislike. The product works as expected and the support team is always responsive.

Easy to set up, easy to report and monitor, great support from the team. Would definitely recommend as another option for DNS filtering, especially when devices are out of the office using the Scout Agent.

Our deployment strategy has been focused around the 360 roaming client. We have been utilising ScoutDNS for client web filtering for quite a few years now and have seen the product continue to grow. Our fleet of 360 clients is around 500 and the complete lack of incidents around this agent and supported devices is fantastic. The administration portal has been improved to provide easier methods to deploy, configure and report.

initially, it was tricky to get setup in our network

we have been using it to filter both our internal network as well as our guest network. we house a school and have found it useful in adding extra protection for the kids with safe search and youtube policies.
