It keeps an open line of communication between the school and parents without having to give out your personal phone number. Another huge plus is that it records all of your conversations, so you can refer back to them later in case there are any discrepancies.

How it gives a number that looks like a spam number. Often times, parents will not answer the number because it looks like a spam number.

There is no more "he said, she said"....you have proof of what parents are clearly communicated.

It's great that I can send out a blast text to all parents, which keeps my personal phone from being inundated with calls. I especially appreciate how it keeps my personal phone number private while still maintaining that personal connection with families. The initial setup was a breeze.

I don't like that it doesn't save the groups for me, so I have to create a new group every time. I also don't like that it doesn't allow me to just select 'ALL CONTACTS' to send out a blast, and I have to go in and create the group.

It can take too long to load. Also, I don't like the limit on symbols in texts.

The most helpful thing about schoolstatus is how it simplifies communication between parent,nstudents and admin.

The downside to using school status is that only admin can add or take away. Teachers should have a secure code or something to add students or remove them.

I am able to leave messages for my parents regardless of them answering the phone or not.

The initial setup was very easy since our school uploaded all the contacts, and all I had to do was click on a specific child to message parents. I seriously have not had a single issue with SchoolStatus.

It’s a game changer! If you are wanting to create great parent/teacher Communication, SchoolStatus is the way to go. It sends texts messages directly to their phone and you are given a unique phone number to keep yours private!

The most helpful part of School Status is the ease with which I can communicate with parents; whether I create a quick Smore newsletter or send a private message to parents, it is quick and easy.

The least helpful part is that parents can decide if they receive messages to their email or to their phone. Some parents don't regularly check their emails.
