The parametric families can be tailored to create any object you need. This saves time later when you need a similar object. Revit LT 3d views (can't create renderings) are pretty ok, mainly when used with ambient shadows and realistic material view. For some clients, this will be satisfactory, and you can skip renderings altogether.
Revit LT lacks some basic Revit Features - like manipulating flat roof points or creating renderings. It also doesn't support plugins, so you can't use more advanced rendering options.
Usually, Revit LT is all you need. Full Revit is only required when doing a large project with multiple architects and other designers working on the same file. You will miss rendering options (only online rendering is available), but that doesn't seem to be a big issue.
I've created many templates so that my colleagues can apply a template to a view and have a consistent view style in all our projects.
Also, I've created a parametric window family with a varying number of subwindows, an on-off switch for opening, an air went. Instead of looking through the library, you can use one single object with all the options.

Revit LT is a one of the cheapest BIM modeling tool, especially for the small designing companies and this tool delivers the best professional designing services.
Nice communicating package through its clear and understandable 3D renders and also very quick for the user to generate various detailed drawings.
Revit LT is much reliable solution on materials and cost estimating, design sharing tool with other different Revit tool users, and they also offer a free trial to the new comers to try the product capabilities.
No big usage problems, a part from the major issues with other such products, especially when the user is rendering some large files projects.
Revit LT is a unique Architectural designing package which has powerful estimating capabilities and production of quality designs which can be shred to different Revit tools designers.
Quick modeling of quality 3D and other documents, design sharing between different professionals and many more tool usage benefits.
User interface is easy to use and it was something easy to install.
My program crashes from time to time and I'm not sure how to work around this issue.
Still trying to solve some planning issues that arise from my projects.
Easy for coordinating with all services and big time saving soft ware for Design
Need high configuration system to work , need good internet connection to download and install the software.
Good design software available in market for Architecture & MEP Design
Time saving soft ware, useful for coordinating services
Revit's best quality is it's ability to represent information, and it's use of existing in 3d. Drawing something in plan and knowing it will exist in elevation and section, etc, is great and helps with understanding projects in a 3d realm. It's also incredible because multiple people can be working on the same file at once, which makes it the most integral tool to use in architecture.
Revit is not a design tool, and to be fair it is never advertised as one. It can be frustrating when it is tried to be used as such. There are also minor irritations with the program in general - specifically with groups and such, but they are things that can be worked around. There is also no backwards compatibility (but this is true of most Autodesk products).
Takes some getting used to, but worth it. You'll find new things about revit everyday, and it can be very frustrating, but worth it as it cuts down a lot of time.
We are creating buildings with Revit. It is great to be able to send out revit files to consultants (building engineers, contractors, etc) and know that everyone is seeing the same information. Benefits include
Revit LT and Revit finally do what I was promised that CAD would do when I entered the profession 35 years ago. Automated schedules, instant 3d modelling, true visualization of the end product.
Revit LT omits the MEP functions, which, as a sole practitioner, frequently need to be able to draw for myself. Some of the online documentation is difficult to understand
Watch for Promo Pricing.
Quick results for multiple presentation type views of the project. I was able to generate plans, sections, and interior perspectives for a design change in just a couple of hours, where creating all those different views in standard CAD would have taken at least a full day, if not more.
Almost all of the same features as Revit but only a fraction of the cost!
Templates do not come preloaded. Cannot back save for older versions or open files created with newer versions.
3d modeling for clients
The price is unbeatable. You cannot get these essential tools for the same price with another program.
No complaints. Although Revit has some hurdles to get past, the price for this product makes it a no-brainer.
As a new business, Revit LT enables our firm to utilize an essential software without paying for features we don't need.

Revit LT provides a good base software solution for professionals that want to learn the basics of BIM without committing to the full software suite where they may not utilize all of the features. It is easy to navigate and teach our team members how to begin the basics of BIM.
It would be very helpful if Revit LT included some base MEP modelling features for smaller firms that may not take advantage of the heating/cooling load calculation software but still want to do some modelling of building systems. Duct and plumbing & drainage system modelling in the Revit LT software would lead to 100% adoption by our whole team. Without that, it is just a few of us that use Revit LT on a daily basis.
Check out the features of Revit LT to ensure that it meets your organizations needs for basic BIM uses. If you're an MEP firm it does not have the building services components, families or features required.
Revit LT allows some of our team members to open and navigate building models without needing the full software. This is helpful for our engineers that may not do much design work. It also allows us to view models sent by project architects to determine service routing and potential clashes between the structure and our services. This is very helpful for the schematic and concept design phases where we can establish service routing challenges and coordinate these with the other disciplines before it leads to a clash.
