I love how easy the platform is to administer - you don't need to be technical to run it. Tracking is straightforward, users can easily understand how many referrals they've made, and you can track all rewards pending and given. But the most important feature to me was its connectivity to HubSpot. I evaluated other platforms, but this was the only one that enabled me to connect my users in HubSpot to their Referral Rock account.
They have built-in templates for sending emails though the design isn't very customizable, and I have found the email functions lacking. However, given our connection to HubSpot, I don't need to use their email function, so it isn't a big negative.
Highly recommend the platform - be sure you know how you plan to use it before getting started. And consider using your email templates for promotion.
We are trying to drive word-of-mouth promotion from our existing members to encourage others to join our organization and reward the users for making the referral. I could have built something on our own, but this off-the-shelf solution solved almost all of my problems and did so at a cost-effective price and faster than I could have done it myself.

It requires a new account if you want to add an additional brand (when the domain is different).

I was looking for a referral share program that integrated with our CRM effortlessly and Referral Rock did just that. With the help of their team in the setup phase, no real problem come to mind.
Full disclosure, I've only been using the program for 3 months now, so my dislikes are more on my end, not theirs. Reporting is easy enough, but I wish there were a few more KPIs I could look into, but with privacy changes I understand why they arent available.
Outside of word-of-mouth, our business was set up for referrals. We wanted to implement something fast to help feel our sales funnel. Referral Rock does this. It takes some time to dial in what consumers want in return but finding an ROI that's beneficial to both the customer and us is worth it.
