Quest migration manager to migrate Active Directory is a market leader in this area
What do you like best about Quest Migration Manager?
I have used it to migrate our active directory domain from one domain to another domain. It helped us to sync our users, groups and other AD objects wihout any issue.
What do you dislike about Quest Migration Manager?
It's best features like SID history migration, option of enabling/disabling objects at source and destination and countinous sycn are the most flawless features which cannot be matched with any other product.
Recommendations to others considering Quest Migration Manager?
What problems is Quest Migration Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?
We also migrated our servers like file and application servers from one domain to another domain without loosing the existing access.

QMM coming with most complete migration scenario support.
What do you dislike about Quest Migration Manager?
To use the QMM with it full potential needs extensive planning and preapration work. It can be very complex. Once done right migration can be very fast.
What problems is Quest Migration Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rapid AD migration and domain consolidation for 60k users in 18 months for previous project. It saves a lot time compare to any other tools at that moment.

How useful Quest Migration Manager
What do you like best about Quest Migration Manager?
- Migration using Quest is relatively easy and smooth. I have done many Lotus Notes DB content migrations to SharePoint.
What do you dislike about Quest Migration Manager?
- Selection of Source DB and Target site feel most straightforward manner.
Recommendations to others considering Quest Migration Manager?
- You can easily migrate all attachments to the target SharePoint site.
What problems is Quest Migration Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?
- The best part is Quest also appending the whole picture of the Lotus document in Sharepoint's Body field. It will help you to refer to the Source content from your Target site only, which means no need to go back to see it in Source DB.
