I like the ease of the program in using it. It is easy to use and to add new clients and to manage them. The program makes it a lot easier to manage my practice and to keep track of my clients. It integrates the charting, billing, and payments all into one place. The customer service is great and very helpful and responsive.
The system can be clunky at times, although things can be figured out.
I would make sure that it meets all the needs that you have. Also, if you are going to use it for submitting claims, it can be expensive if you have majority of non-participating providers - as it is very expensive.
It is a great practice management system and helps to manage all aspects of my business.
It is simple, easy and user friendly. PM includes all the features you would need to bill claims to any insurance in any state, paper or electronically. Posting payments are easy and can be tracked efficiently. Patient statements can be created in a PDF for submission by professional statement companies. Reports are clear and concise and can be created in PDF or spreadsheet format. Training is readily available. Upgrades are free and constant as new things come about.
Statements are not generated in the most appealing manor, I send mine out for mailing. Customer service can take a bit long for results. ERAS do not post themselves, but they do come into the payment feature for manual auto posting.
If you have a smaller practice with 1-4 providers, this is a great system. Billing companies can have access to all their clinics from one log on or create separate agreements for each. This system can be used with any provider type anywhere in the US. PM training makes it easy to get up and running quickly.
PM allows for 24/7 access by all users, if permissions are given. This allows providers to answer some of their own questions. It is easy to train staff, giving more time to productivity. Can be accessed remotely, a big deal in this COVID time.
I am not in immediate use of this, the front desk is. But from the times I’ve used it to schedule a patient or look up a patient I like the ease of use beat
Since I do not use this as much as the front desk staff I am unaware of any dislikes. From my use I have enjoyed the software.
Makes looking up patient records easier and faster
Let my boss add in breaks and notes for patients and appointments; Copay information, etc.
A bit clunky, the system takes a bit to get used to but not too long.
Auto-fill patient info to schedule. Convenient.
I like how it is easy to use and that everything is well organized. I also like the layout because you are able to color code appointments so that it is easier to distinguish which patients are what.
The only thing I dislike about this software is that it is slow at times.
This has impacted my work by consistently helping me to be organized with easy access. Without the quick access and colored format, I wouldn't have been as efficient with my working style than I would if I didn't have it.
What I like best is the ease of creating and deleting my templates for scheduling. I can look at what I want to see in a patient's info and move on.
I haven't had any negative experiences recently with practice mate. I wish it was easier to see when a message comes through from a patient.
Practice mate has made it easy to share information between clinicians. I didn't have any worries when I went out on maternity leave that another clinician couldn't find what they needed! Running reports to see what I've done has been very smooth.

it covers everything from a clinical practice standpoint, so it is good in that regard.
I love how easy and user friendly the program is. It is easy to understand and you can use just the pieces that you need to from it.
I don't like how clunky it is at times. There are parts that seem to not work as good. I also wish it were more focused to mental health offices.
I have been able to streamline my practice and keep less paper records. I also am able to access information from anywhere, which is great.

Best thing in officeally practice mate is very easy and user friendly and important part is he charge very low if you are using EHR. Also they are updated regularly to meet provider need in RCM
