User Friendly System that is all inclusive

What do you like best about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

I have used many management systems over the years. PowerSchool is the best I have used thus far. It is user-friendly, intuitive, all-inclusive, and it works. Compared to other systems, this one is the top of the line.

What do you dislike about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

There isn't much to dislike. I wish the IEP writing system blended better with the overall design. The grading system could also be more straightforward if there were one thing to consider improving, integrating a better IEP writing system and a better health system for the nurses.

Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

The setup can be daunting. Don't give up and follow each step in order. The result is worth the start-up difficulities.

What problems is PowerSchool eSchoolPlus solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a system that was reliable, user friendly for all parties involved, including parents, nurses, teachers, and administration. PowerSchool supplied us with that and more.

If you are trying to decide between PowerSchool SIS and eSchoolPLUS SIS, you should 100% go with eSchoolPLUS. So much of what the program does is user friendly both for admin staff and end users.

An Excellent Choice for Learning Management

What do you like best about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

I like that it is reliable, organized, and that I can manage attendance and grades all in one place. Overall, I love that powerschool works together with multiple aspects of education management.

What do you dislike about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

There are some times when data does not save correctly and will glitch, but those times are rare.

What problems is PowerSchool eSchoolPlus solving and how is that benefiting you?

Some benefits are a LMS that is reliable and keeps up with multiple forms of data.

Great Product

This is very easy to use, it works well and can be used on phones and computers!

What do you dislike about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

You are able to put notes on specific students grades, but the students do not always realize that they are there.

What problems is PowerSchool eSchoolPlus solving and how is that benefiting you?

This provides an easy way to convey grades and assignments to students.

EASY GRADE INPUT

What do you like best about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

I like that I can search for my students with ease as well as put grade in the gradebook with notes. It also allows me to make notes about individual students to refer to when needed for parent phone calls.

What do you dislike about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

I do not the many search possibilities. It gets a little confusing at times when looking at individual student information. Also inputting grades when a student transfers is sometimes difficult.

Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

You must navigate the program to learn it.

What problems is PowerSchool eSchoolPlus solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows for grades to be placed in the gradebook and make notes about students.

Middle school ESchool review

What do you like best about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

I like that I can enter assignments and events to the calendar that my students can then see. I can also include notes about the assignments for the students to see.

What do you dislike about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

I haven't found anything that I dislike.

What problems is PowerSchool eSchoolPlus solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is a good portal for communication between teachers, students and parents.

Solid software, not always easy to figure out

What do you like best about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

Everything is located in one place--attendance, gradebook, student records, and behavior management.

What do you dislike about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

It can be a little difficult to navigate at times, it is not always easy to figure out without a lot of trial and error.

Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

It's a solid product to keep multiple records on students.

What problems is PowerSchool eSchoolPlus solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am quickly able to pull lists of students based on categories such as language learners for the entire school or a specific grade.

What do you like best about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

User-friendly interface; shortcuts for taking and verifying attendance and uploading interim progress report and report card data. Ability to run various reports for classroom management and student data.

What do you dislike about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

System hangs/takes a long time to load pages when there is increased user volume. This typically happens during county-wide deadlines for grades.

What problems is PowerSchool eSchoolPlus solving and how is that benefiting you?

I can run various reports related to classroom management (rosters, seating charts), attendance, and student data (class wide and personalized).

I use eSchool Plus for scheduling, it's easy to use and makes my job a lot easier.

What do you dislike about PowerSchool eSchoolPlus?

I don't like that you have to switch back and forth from this year to next year to do scheduling for the following year.
