The managed service behind the platform. The Platform9 team is very experienced in Kubernetes and are always available to guide us in the right direction.

We can setup multiple Kubernetes clusters on top of It and it provides us a web console where we can manage all of them.

We're Orchestrating and managing multiple Kubernetes clusters using platform9 on top of platform9 managed Openstack.

Extremely easy to deploy, manage, monitor and automate with built-in WebUI tools and others such as Argo CD and Ansible, Versus Others with less automation or too much where you can get vendor locked.

Customer service can be a hit or miss at times, Some customer service people will be awesome and some will just send you a link/reference and you're on your own

Massive reduction in start-up/maintenance complexity while allowing you the flexibility to test new features and customize the cluster to fit your business needs

I've tried several Kubernetes as a Service like AWS Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS) or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). These services are very good but they locked you in their cloud. If you have on premisses K8s, and/or in different clouds, you end up having to manage different ways to deploy and manage your Kubernetes Cluster. With Platform9 you forget all the hassle to install and maintain your different K8s clusters. Platform9 allows you to easily install a fully functional, production-grade, and on-premises cluster from scratch in less than 15 minutes. They also have specific integrations for AWS and Google, so you can have the resources provided by these cloud providers without being locked in. Currently, we have 6 clusters and zero maintenance. We can define roles to access specific resources on our cluster and each user is able to download your own Kubeconfig. The support is amazing, always helping me in the specific cases I had.

Besides being powerful, I still missing some features very specific to my use case. One of these features is the ability to change the instance type on PF9 AWS installations using the control panel. Either way, I asked the support and they promptly did that internally.

We have a hybrid environment with On Premisses services and AWS clusters. Platform9 unified the way we do to install and maintain the different environments I have.
