What do you like best about Perplexity?Perplexity is my research partner. I work in sales, so when I need to research prospective companies, I always use the deep research about the company. It’s useful because it helps me reach out to prospects with more knowledge about their company.What do you dislike about Perplexity?Sometimes it’s complex to see the exact results. At times it also shows non-relevant data, but that depends on the search, not for the most part.What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?It’s helping me reduce my manual research time. Also, the consolidated report with formatted Q&A from the research helps me get what I need. It’s pretty helpful.

What do you like best about Perplexity?It is useful for the people who does research and development, the answers it gives are most accurate and useful. Also the agent helps to do any tasks automatically and saves a lot of time. The Ui/Ux is so minimal and clean useful for easy navigation. The performance is so good. The pricing can be a little better and lower.What do you dislike about Perplexity?There can be more student offers and can be a little better improved in the search engine and task and the support can be improved.What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?The agentic browser helps to automate user requirements and can be used to interact with other services.

Good integration through devices, whether mobile or desktop.

What do you like best about Perplexity?It has completely replaced standard Google searching for my day-to-day work. Instead of opening 10 tabs, scanning through fluff, and manually compiling answers, Perplexity gives a synthesized summary with clear footnotes to the original pages right away. The Pro search feature is great when I need a multi-step dive into complex topics, and the Focus modes (like Academic or Writing) help narrow the scope so I don't get irrelevant web clutter. It essentially functions as a hyper-efficient research assistant.What do you dislike about Perplexity?While citations are its core selling point, they aren't always 100% reliable. Occasionally, it generates 'phantom' citations—linking to a generic homepage or an article that doesn't actually contain the specific figure or quote it cited. You still have to manually verify sources for high-stakes reports, which slightly defeats the purpose of automated fact-checking. Also, thread context tends to drop if a conversation gets too long, forcing you to restart the search chain from scratch.What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?Standard AI models (like base ChatGPT) don't have real-time web access out of the box without browsing plugins, and their knowledge cutoffs lead to outdated answers. On the flip side, search engines just dump raw links without summarizing the context. Now perplexity bridges the gap between a search engine and an executive assistant. I use it to get quick summaries of industry news, vendor comparisons, and quick policy lookups during my day-to-day workflow. It frees up mental bandwidth and prevents tab overload.

What do you like best about Perplexity?I run an AI revenue architecture practice, so Perplexity sits in the front half of nearly every GTM transformation engagement: sizing a client's market, mapping a portfolio company's competitive set, pulling filings and funding history before a discovery call, and pressure-testing assumptions a leadership team has carried unexamined for years. What do you dislike about Perplexity? Recommendations to others considering Perplexity?The AI and intelligence layer is what earns the seat. Answers come back with numbered, clickable citations, so research output is defensible in front of a CRO or a deal partner instead of something I have to quietly re-verify. Model switching matters too. Fast model for lookups, heavier reasoning model when I am building a point of view a client will act on. What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Perplexity?Easy intuitive interface, not too heavy on a pocket, speed of generating response and quality of answers. Support during onboarding is top notch.What do you dislike about Perplexity?So far nothing comes to mind about dislikes but I would like to see options to notify my about preselected topics I'm interested with.What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?Perplexity helps me with wide range of tasks, I do search for programming source codes and scripts, I also research places before heading for holidays, I do ask about some health issues and advices just to confirm what I learned in university is still correct. There is no topic that Perplexity is not capable to help you with or at least direct you towards that topic.

What do you like best about Perplexity?Honestly, I really like how Perplexity gives me direct answers and also shows the sources. It saves me a lot of time when I’m researching because I don’t have to dig through multiple websites just to find the information I need.What do you dislike about Perplexity?One thing I dislike is that the answers can sometimes feel too brief, or too dependent on the sources it finds. Every so often, I have to rephrase my question or run another search to get exactly what I’m looking for.What problems is Perplexity solving and how is that benefiting you?Perplexity solves the problem of spending too much time searching across multiple websites for reliable information. It gives me quick, well-organized answers with sources included, which makes it much easier to research and understand a topic while saving me a lot of time.
