"Solid product, exactly what we needed"

What do you like best about WorkDove?

WorkDove improved the employee experience, helping us retain valuable employees. Many of our employees had asked for more regular feedback and that's why we chose WorkDove.

The price was very affordable for a company of our size.

What do you dislike about WorkDove?

Initially, it felt slow, but that has improved a ton. Not an issue any longer.

What do you like best about WorkDove?

Using WorkDove for performance management and employee engagement is a fantastic experience. It is a user-friendly and streamlined tool that eliminates the need for using Word documents for performance reviews. Moreover, the Check-In feature is an excellent way to get honest feedback from employees and supervisors. Unlike other software platforms, the Live Chat feature of WorkDove is amazing and provides quick resolution of questions by a live person.

What do you dislike about WorkDove?

I need to work with WorkDove on how to best incorporate organizational goals into the system.

What problems is WorkDove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Storing all information in one place and helping to make objective performance decisions.

"Best Customer Service!!"

What do you like best about WorkDove?

I have reached out to Support many times over the past two years of using the Work Dove App. Their response time is very good and if needed they go above an beyond to answer any questions or solve an issue. Besides Instant Messaging I have asked support to call me when it is something unique or difficult to explain in text. On one occasion I did a Teams chat with support and the IT department so I could share my screen and they could see what the issue was.

What do you dislike about WorkDove?

I did like when we first used the App that there were articles in the Learn Library. They can still be accessed but I liked the ease of the original system.

What problems is WorkDove solving and how is that benefiting you?

It makes Managers more accountable to communicate on a more frequent basis with the employees.

What do you like best about WorkDove?

They are great with their customer service. They took the time to make sure that I had everything I needed before we launched.

What do you dislike about WorkDove?

I have not encountered anything about this tool that I have a compliant about.

What problems is WorkDove solving and how is that benefiting you?

There are so many tools that help build the capacity of our teams. Just the simple integration of the Manager's coaching guide and the employee coaching guide has done wonders for opening up in what used to be "hard" conversations.

"Easy to learn and use."

What do you like best about WorkDove?

The interface is user-friendly, easy to tailor and easy to maintain. The various apps encompass many aspects of general review and performance management.

What do you dislike about WorkDove?

Some apps would benefit from a few updates including, the ability to attach files, and easily update employee records.

What problems is WorkDove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ensuring that all employees have a resource to speak truth to power. Ensure that all leaders interact with all team members at some level. We are just getting started and will need to get back to you once we survey the users to gain insight into the benefits.

"Comprehensive talent management suite; easy setup and great support"

What do you like best about WorkDove?

Intuitive, configurable talent management suite. Allows for sophisticated performance management, recognition and talent development solutions in a single interface. Very easy to deploy - although configuration is easy the solution works great "out of the box." Support is excellent as well - staff are very responsive.

What do you dislike about WorkDove?

Our only challenge has been on the ADP side, trying to keep the integration connector working. It tends to break, but this is common within ADP unfortunately.

Recommendations to others considering WorkDove:

It's very easy to set up configured review templates for different areas of the workforce. Goal setup and cascading is also easy. Reviews, check-ins, recognition and talent development all work well together without any "fluff" that competitive products offer. WorkDove was built by people who know talent management and development.

What problems is WorkDove solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've made recognition, performance reviews, check-ins and 9-box talent review accessible within a widely dispersed field organization. It has helped to keep performance, coaching and feedback front-and-center while also helping to develop supervisor capability.

"Very satisfied - simple, yet robust technology to aid in continuous feedback"

What do you like best about WorkDove?

Easy to implement, incredibly flexible, intuitive for admins and users, and continuously improving based on feedback. Customer support is fast and effective.

I am very pleased with WorkDove. Any critiques are minor.

What do you dislike about WorkDove?

The objective ranking is a bit clunky (1-10 rating that assigns weight versus just typing in percentage creates some user confusion). Also, some of the goal criteria could use improvement. For example, if you enter an objective with a % result, it assumes higher is better. Not always the case (i.e. waste goal of 2% - higher than 2% is not better). There are simple workarounds to this, but was confusing at first use. Also, role security works great for employees and managers. The HR Partner role assignments could use improvement - which I know is actively being worked on.

What problems is WorkDove solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has removed our manual form and is helping to focus our leaders on the conversations instead of completing a form. Also, it is helping HR to easily identify where we have gaps in terms of goal setting (not done, or need for training/coaching) and effective feedback. I am excited to expand our use to 9-Box, Check-ins and 360 to increase effectiveness.

What do you like best about WorkDove?

I worked in a demo environment for a few months learning the platform. The user interface is easy to pick up and would not require continuous training. In addition to top-notch functionality, the leadership at WorkDove is clearly behind best practices and readily shares their knowledge via white papers, webinars and Melissa's podcasts offer exceptional insights.

What do you dislike about WorkDove?

There wasn't anything I disliked; however, our company is unique in that we prefer not to display ratings in the form of numbers or graphics (stars).

What problems is WorkDove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Modernizing our annual performance reviews and adding documented check-in meetings benefits the employee, manager, and company.

"WorkDove allowed me become a better Manager"

What do you like best about WorkDove?

The software is so well coded, so well thought out, and the UI so intuitive. It is the perfect tool as it allows me to focus on the content and the conversation and I never have to worry about how get the software to do what I need it to do. Everything you could possibly need is already there and it just works flawlessly.

This is topped only by the people at and behind WorkDove. Everyone is extremely passionate about the field they work in and they are so eager to share their pool of experience and wisdom. I learn something every time I reach out and have a conversation.

What do you dislike about WorkDove?

I have yet to discover something with this software or the company or the people who work for it that I don't love.

What problems is WorkDove solving and how is that benefiting you?

With the system we had in place, I was never able to successfully complete an annual performance review process for my department. The burden of executing the process was 100% on me as the manager. The process itself was time-consuming and challenging to work with as we shared the same review template with the same business objectives across many departments in our organization. Weekly employee check-ins were time-consuming and emotionally taxing as - again - the burden fell on me as the manager to orchestrate and guide through seven conversations every week. As a result, I found myself spending 80% of my time fighting my way through the process - trying to make it work for my department - and 20% of my time coaching my direct reports.

Using WorkDove, I now have a process that works for me, not against me. The WorkDove philosophy inspired me to develop department Values and Objectives with my team, which created more alignment for us that we ever had. Using customized Check-In and Performance Review Templates that are tailored to the various job descriptions in my department makes it very easy for my direct reports to drive the agenda of our 1-on-1 conversations - which they happily do. WorkDove effectively took the time and emotional burden of weekly check-ins off me, which freed up time for me and significantly improved my employee performance management experience.

Using the tools and training from WorkDove, the conversations between me and my direct reports improved, their job satisfaction improved, my job satisfaction improved, and it helped me become a better manager.
