My favorite thing about PDQ Inventory is that it pulls from Active Directory. I'd used other things in the past that involved deploying agents and it was so much more work to determine if I'd captured all my devices.
There's nothing really to dislike about it. We probably all wish we could get more for free, but then how would any business operate? Haha
The software lets me sit back and remain aware of what devices I have. We are required to know certain attributes about our workstations, and PDQ lets me see all those things at a glance (last logged in user, OS and build number, last reboot, etc.)
Should all our machines and operating systems, great way to manage our assets.
Nothing it does everything we want it to do.
Keeoing up with our assets and the rotation and depreciation of our tech equipment
Price. Despite the increase in price not too long ago, it's still cheaper that many other competing software.
Lack of Linux support, PDQ software is geared towards Windows but it would be nice to see Linux support even if it's just basic.
We wanted something for inventory management and it turns out it can do a lot more when it's integrated with PDQ Deploy.
I can see almost anything I want to know about the computers on my network, uptime, memory, disk drive, applications
Some of the more advanced inventory features require powershell scripting, or in depth registry scanning
I can look at a glance to see what models of computers, OS, OS Versions, applications, uptimes. This greatly reduces the time it takes to try to figure out what applications need to be installed, removed, updated.
Simple and straightforward interface, Hostnames can be identified with network search, and Very detailed and in-depth Software and hardware information can be obtained.
There is nothing bad about the application and its features.it would be great if there is integration between PDQ inventory and deploy for better management and deployment.
Inventory sitewide has been a challenging part of the year-end repository count. Yes, very less information to bother about as the reported can be generated in a couple of clicks.
PDQ inventory makes it easy to gather and collection information in the environment related to systems. Finds the current OS and software versions. Works well seamlessly with PDQ Deploy.
Nothing, PDQ inventory is constantly improved and they continue to release relevant updates that are very beneficial.
Strongly recommend the PDQ Inventory as a tool to help identify and manage your end devices.
I am able to gather a complete snapshot of the entire environment and quickly run reports on awareness of the device details.
Very helpful when looking at where an asset is located.
No phone support. Everything has to be done by email so if an emergency cannot call.
Inventory management and software management.
Its ability to keep track of installed patches and application versions. Having a web interface make it more convenien.
The options for customization in PDQ Inventory, which makes it hard to tailor the platform. The reporting feature benefit from flexibility in terms of data presentation.
PDQ Inventory doesnt demand resources thus making it a cost effective choice, for businesses. This ultimately saves us time and money.
I like that it puts all your endpoints in the same place to manage and compare systems.
I don't like that pricing is per admin instead of endpoint count and that you are not able to get a trial without getting in touch with sales.
IT helps with asset management and keeping track of sytems operating systems hardware and other critical system information for endpoints.

Getting PDQ Inventory up and running was a breeze, and once it was running, I was able to keep track of what clients were in need of patching and which ones did not need my attention
I would like to see PDQ implement a web interface or perhaps even a mobile app to make it even easier to keep track of installed patches and application versions
I was having trouble keeping track of what apps were installed on my clients and if they were fully patched. When Inventory is paired with Deploy, it's a powerful one-two punch that keeps out-of-date clients to a minimum.
