DAT has a learning curve but is highly effective when you get the hang of it.

I have worked with several student information systems and I have worked with PCR for more than 10 years and I highly recommend not only the products they offer, but the company. It has evolved throughout the years and remains not only one of the most robust integrated complete school information systems, but also one of the best values!

The benefits are infinite. Having all constituents and their data in one database makes all the difference in the world. All aspects of the school run more efficiently because of PCR.

PCR Educator's Admissions system offers multiple built-in features that not only optimize our workflows but also keep applicants engaged and informed throughout important milestones. The system automatically communicates with applicants, providing reminders about missing tests, documents, and events, ensuring a smooth admissions journey. This automation greatly reduces our office's involvement, as everything seamlessly progresses without manual intervention.

As a customer who has experienced both PCR Educator and Blackbaud, I cannot emphasize enough the superior functionality and service provided by PCR Educator. I was so frustrated with Blackbaud's implementation - it simply couldn't perform basic functions that PCR Educator handled effortlessly.

Moreover, the customer service experience at Blackbaud was marred by high turnover rates, resulting in new, unfamiliar support staff who lacked an understanding of the system. It's astonishing that Blackbaud charged an additional $20k for an account consultant to help solve these issues. In contrast, PCR Educator's system has consistently been reliable, intuitive, and cost-effective. The support provided by their team is top-notch, always ready to help and knowledgeable about their system. It's clear to me that PCR Educator is the superior choice for schools looking to streamline their operations effectively and efficiently.

I dislike that they don't offer a library system. It would be so nice if we could have our Library system be a part of PCR Educator ecosystem.

PCR is a great partner for our prek-grade 12 school. They are inventive, resourceful and provide great support whenever it is needed. We even had a request for a new use with the PCR technology system and they created it from scratch for us and walked us through implementation. PCR is a great partner for any school's comprehensive admissions and student information system.

There is so much to learn, but worth it to take the time and be trained appropriately so all of the available resources work to your advantage.

The biggest problem is provided a resource for parents in one location. PCR has many solutions for that.

I like that I can do attendance and grading in it. And that for the most part it works without having to do anything extra.

I hate how old it is and that there is no user friendly app for it.

It’s great for creating groups to organize our students in and for our scheduling. It also is great for inputting attendance.

Literally nothing. PCR is antiquated, slow, cumbersome, and not intuitive.

The layout is not pleasing, the queries do not give good information, the fields are redundant and not comprehensive, the service is poor, and the worst of all is that PCR refuses to help you export information when you want to use a new system. They make pulling data out of PCR next to impossible. It feels like they hold your data hostage. The online forms are not aesthetically pleasing either. I use it for Advancement and trying to capture good information, anecdotes, details, etc. is not working. Running detailed and accurate reports is impossible and I have to use spreadsheets to track and decipher data. I used to use it for Admissions and it was clunky and not at all usable.

If you want BASIC, this is it. If you want to actually be able to use your data and track donors or applicants, this is not going to give you what you need to be successful. The cost may be low, but your expectations will need to mirror that.
