I have no dislike about it. But initially, it needs some learning, and their features can be enhanced more.

I loved about how it's delivered it's most functional ways to create more obsessities its can be used to used on many things that related to many types of tasks.

What do you like best about Palantir Foundry?

The interface looks great. A lot of information can be viewed, linked and stored. The data set protection (only post treating functions are editable) is a real plus !

What do you dislike about Palantir Foundry?

Maybe too « informatics » oriented yet. Applications can be very slow. Chart bars with 2 colors stripes cannot be displayed (which is a basic function of PowerPoint !)

Recommendations to others considering Palantir Foundry?

Make it available to all user (as excel), simple to use and develop applications.

Big data analysis, producing indicators automatically and using applications to get datas (+searching)

great for semi-technical people

What do you like best about Palantir Foundry?

Foundry is great for people who are semi-technical but not full-on coders or data scientists. I think my favorite feature is that you can easily change columns -- the multi-column editor function is a lifesaver. You can also easily merge two different datasets.

What do you dislike about Palantir Foundry?

Palantir Foundry is pretty controversial at my company. The main qualm people have with it is that there is a learning curve, and that the visualizations are poor.

Palantir Foundry allows for real-time collaborationthat lets you keep the same source of truth without duplicating underlying datasets, making it easier to organize and manage data.

What do you like best about Palantir Foundry?

I like that through Contour, data manipulation becomes more accessible to people that are not comfortable writing code.

What do you dislike about Palantir Foundry?

The pivot functionality is awful. The fact that making any change immediately saves what you have done and you can’t back things out.

I used Foundry to create all of the baseline reporting for our analytics platform as well as to create owner associate scorecards.
