Utility and flexibility with Nosto
What do you like best about Nosto?
The ability to schedule content ahead of time has really helped our team keep up with our busy marketing calendar. Placing content wherever we need in our template has helped us avoid additional development hours. Nosto content also loads fast and does not slow down our pages. It is rare that we get stuck in a spot with no solution, but when it happens our customer success manager Jiachen is always swift to help us troubleshoot and implement solutions quickly. Communication is quick and we feel supported.
What do you dislike about Nosto?
A few of the integration elements we have require some back-end work from our team, all doable within admin. We are integrating with Magento, so I imagine that will improve over time to match up with more commonly integrated platforms like Shopify.
What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling content, accurate and dynamic searching, promotions catered to user behavior, product recommendations and upsells.

Excellent Customer Service + Results!
What do you like best about Nosto?
We've added more features to our Nosto account outside of Recommendations, we now use Search, Email Widgets, A/B Testing, Content Personalization, Pop-Ups, and newly Upsell. We are so appreciative of the time the Nosto AI saves our team, as well as the analytics it provides on a micro and large scale. The ability to see what every segment is viewing and purchasing has really influenced our ecomm strategy.
What do you dislike about Nosto?
Our CSM feels like an internal member of our team!
Recommendations to others considering Nosto?
We are really looking forward to the improved Dynamic Bundles analytics. We know they are in Beta currently, but that will make Bundles a lot easier to use, and to see what is working within them.
What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nosto has improved the time spent creating recommendations for our homepage, product pages, ad landing pages, error pages and more! It has also given us insights into our site's best practices and recommendation placements.

Fantastic system that can be built around your specific needs
What do you like best about Nosto?
After using Nosto for a while we've implmented more things, including utilising their pop ups, adding content blocks in to category pages, adding FOMO messaging to product pages, and generally easily updating and changing messaging around wherever we need to.
What do you dislike about Nosto?
Our original customer success manager, Ari, was amazing. Valuable insights, great support and feedback, it was then changed to someone honestly useless. He showed up to less than half our meetings, and had no valuable take - our very first meeting with him he even admitted he hadn't even looked at our account yet! So we dont have a manager for our account anymore, it still works well and is a fab system, but that wasn't a great experience. I guess the take away is making sure the CSM's actually know what they are talking about and are more reliable!
What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notso is helping us get the right products in front of the right people when they visit our site. Especially with products we want to push more, it allows us to target the people who have shown an interest in it previously to increase the conversion rates on those products/services.

What do you like best about Nosto?
Access to test brand new features and implement these in a timely manner, continued support and guidance from account manager Joanna, great workshops/demos with trying out new features eg UGC and Post Purchase.
What do you dislike about Nosto?
Bundles is the main one for us - Having bundles easier to access, being able to see exactly which product is in which bundle, being able to export and import bundles between stores.
What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deep diving into our top converting categories and segments, having personalised merchandising sequences for our top segments, AB testing, creating new placements for adding new recommendations such as cart rec, bundles. The platform enables in-depth analysis of our top-performing categories and segments, with personalized merchandising sequences tailored for key segments. It supports A/B testing, as well as the creation of new placements to incorporate additional recommendations, including cart recommendations and product bundles.

Excellent product and excellent support
What do you like best about Nosto?
Have been using Nosto for around 8 years on Magento and later Shopify. It was really easy to install on both platforms. A really solid addition to the website that just works. I primarily use it for on-site product recommendations but am also installing the search function. The support is first class, both the live chat on the website and through my CSM and responses are always really quick.
What do you dislike about Nosto?
Recommendations to others considering Nosto?
I would like to mention my CSM, Ala, as she has been brilliant in our review meetings and is always full of ideas to test out to optimize our site.
What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?
The reporting functionality could be improved with a comparison tool for date ranges.

What do you like best about Nosto?
I can quickly and easily manipulate content and set up A/B tests. It is easy to handle. The category merchandising also works wonderfully and has given our customers a better shopping experience. The customer support is excellent and my contact person is always reachable. I use Nosto almost daily and it is easy to implement things with it.
What do you dislike about Nosto?
I can't name anything specific that I don't like. You have to understand and get to know the tool. Then you recognize all the possibilities.
What problems is Nosto solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manipulation of content to display it product-specifically depending on status, etc.

Great for personalised recommendations
What do you like best about Nosto?
We're using Nosto's core product - product recommendations. The initial setup (admin configuration, front end implementation) is straight forward, and doesn't need much upkeep once in place. Quarterly reviews with our account manager makes it easy to understand performance and ROI, whilst monthly catchups are great for discussing new AB test ideas to optimise recommendations
What do you dislike about Nosto?
It's on the more expensive side vs. other products

What do you like best about Nosto?
Our account manager Ala is absolutely fantastic! She responds straight away to any issues or concerns and she always provides updates and help/support when needed.
What do you dislike about Nosto?
I don't have any dislikes about Nosto, our account manager is brilliant.

Nosto have provided a bespoke recommendation bundle that we can offer our customers. This helps to increase our AOV.

Really great for smart and efficient Merchandising
What do you like best about Nosto?
It really saves time: the virtual merch is automated thanks to some rules you configurate on Nosto and it allows reducing manual work.
What do you dislike about Nosto?
Something also really great are the automatic recommendations: Nosto help suggests similar products seamlessly and we don't have to do it manually on Shopify anymore.
Recommendations to others considering Nosto?
I like that the rules can be personalized depending on where the buyer is (for example, push first coats in bad weather location).

Sometimes it can take time for the rule/merch to reflect on the website.
