Nesayo is an AI-powered pharmacy management platform built specifically for Indian retail pharmacies. It runs in any browser or phone as a Progressive Web App, so there is no Windows PC required at the counter and no installation fee. Billing is free forever. Pharmacists can create GST-compliant invoices by voice in Hindi, Hinglish or English, cutting bill creation from roughly 40 seconds to under 10. A 2,53,973-medicine catalogue comes pre-loaded with HSN codes, GST rates and Schedule classifications, so there is no manual data entry to get started. Inventory uses FEFO (first-expiry-first-out) batch tracking. Batches are flagged 90, 60 and 30 days before expiry, and an expired batch is hard-blocked from being billed rather than merely flagged with a warning. Indian pharmacies typically write off an estimated 3-8 percent of inventory value to expiry each year; catching batches weeks ahead is what brings that down. Compliance is automated. Every Schedule H1 sale logs patient, prescriber, registration number, drug, quantity and date to a digital register with 3-year retention, as required under Rule 65 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B export in the format the GST portal expects, and Tally Prime export is included at no extra cost. Five autonomous AI agents run in the background and propose actions the pharmacist approves with one tap: Morning Briefing, Expiry Guard, Refill Radar, Stock Sense and Payment Advisor. A prescription scanner reads a photographed handwritten prescription and drafts the bill. Offline billing is supported, so the counter never stops when the internet does. Migration from existing software is a CSV upload. Best suited to independent and small-chain retail pharmacies in India. Pure OTC or wellness shops with no prescription dispensing may find a simpler billing app a better fit.
