Navicat Premium makes it very easy to manage my databases of all types in production and my local development environement. It just works. I have never experianced any bugs with the software.

Actually I havent faced features which I don't like.

Is very intuitive and the interface is user friendly.

For the moment I didn't found any inconvenience.

Before navicat I used sequel pro, but it has many unexpected errors and the application crash losing query history, also with sequel pro I can't connect to mysql8. I solved all this inconveniences with navicat premium.

I think that the best part of Navicat is that shows all table data right away. With only few clicks you can edit and commit changes to the database. This is its strongest side. In addition to this, Navicat easily integrates itself with almost any SQL applications. In my case, I use it on the MySQL database and its works flawlessly.

I think the speed is its biggest weakness, its biggest competitor, DataGrip, performs much better because by default it does not show all the table data and specific SQL queries are needed to make changes in Databases. I think that Navicat Premium lacks performance but it over-compensates with stability. To me, Navicat is just better alternative to all SQL IDE-s

Navicat is a great application that lets you navigate through SQL databases with ease.

I do not need to write long queries to make specific changes to the database. Everything is pretty straight-forward and easy to understand. Navicat premium allows me to be more efficient when it comes to database administration and management.

I want to start my review with a bit of my background. My formal programming and database management training dates back to the early 90s and I used very little of those skills for many years following university.

In 2014 I took on the management/development responsibility of a not for a profit website. Needless to say I was more than rusty and the search began for a tool that was easy enough for a beginner and still powerful enough for advance DB management. In 2015 I found Navicat and my life went from sinking fast to success over night. There was nothing like it at the time and bet there still is not. I haven’t looked elsewhere as there is no need. In less than an hour I was set up and had fixed problems in that evening that would take days without this great tool. It was so easy to use I almost couldn’t believe how fast I could fix things and I found myself going to the site to verify things were corrected. They were.

I had to move our site several times since then and Navicat made that process very easy as you can open several databases on many servers at the same time and work between them seamlessly. I use Navicat almost daily now for everything from backups to table maintenance and everything between. Navicat is a tool I will not live without.

I wish I could sort a table without having to pull all the data for the sort.

Navicat es sencillo, navicat es el administrador de base de datos definitivo para poder controlar toda nuestra informacion de manera sencilla y rapida. Es potente capaz de leer base de datos en Mysql, SqlServer, Oracle, MariaDB entre otros, el manejo y creacion de tablas es bastante intuitivo y es posible ejecutar sentencias Query para poder traer toda la data que necesitemos de una forma rapida. La sintaxis es excelente y es posible guardar las consultas para editarlas luego. Tambie es posible crear procedimientos de directos en la base de datos, para ser ejecutados desde algun proyecto que se este creando. Es un programa indispensable para el contro de la base de datos que se requiera. La configuracion es bastante sencilla y rapida podemos establecer una conexion con el servidor que tenga la base de datos en tan solo minutos y con pocos pasos.

Con las nuevas actualizaciones se ha mejorado un poco la interfaz de usuario pero esta puede ser mejor, es necesario ampliar la compatibilidad con otras bases de datos

El programa es excelente podemos manejar toda nuestra base de datos de manera profesional, facil y segura se los recomiendo a todos los administradores de base de datos.

Navicat es uno de los mejores manejadores de base de datos, permite configurar de manera sencilla distintas base de datos, el mismo posee una compatibilidad con todas las bases de datos existentes en el mercado como por ejemplo SQL SERVER, MYSQL, MARIA DB y entre muchas otras mas. Es posible crear, editar y organizar las tablas de una manera muy intuitiva, tambien se pueden crear procedimientos directos en la base de datos para luego ser ejecutados desde algun otro lenguaje de programacion para que el mismo se ejecute y cumpla una tarea determinada. Se pueden crear consultas a la data de manera sencilla y con un resaltado de sintaxis maravilloso luego de crear la consulta es posible guardarla para luego hacer modificaciones o consultas a futuro. Configurar el motor de la base de datos es sencillo con pocos parametros puedes tener el manejador totalemte operativo.

La interfaz grafica de la aplicacion puede ser un poco mejor, en ocasiones tarde un poco en abrir las tablas o aplicar las consultas, dependiendo del grado de complejidad.

Si desean un maneajador de base de datos Navicat es la respuesta, es potente y posee grandes cualidades para manejar toda la data a nivel profesional altamente recomendado.
