I signed up for the Creator + plan to create an audiobook. I was going to go with ElevenLabs, but backed out when I realized they require a credit card (debit not accepted). Since ElevenLabs has rave reviews and Murf's reviews are mixed (and actually kind of bad on this platform) I was worried I'd be disappointed. I was not! My audiobook turned out great, and their customer service was SO amazing! I ran out of my monthly time with 5 and a half pages of my novel left to complete. They generously credited me more than enough time to go ahead and get my project finished without having to wait for a new billing cycle to roll around, which is why I felt compelled to leave this review. I'm definitely a happy customer.
Easy to use and Ultra-realistic human-like voices! I was surprised to find that the voices are so realistic. The interface is easy to understand and creating videos and presentations is very simple. The Canva integration is very useful. What shocked me is their gen2 version which has "say it my way" that mimics how you speak - very useful for audiobook creation.
Used murf tool for converting some of my writings into audio. Really easy to do and much less pricing. Glad that I could find them as voiceovers artist were real expensive. One thing that stands out for me in their tool are the voices, they have a very good collection, sound natural.
The product looks good and I may very well have given it a 5 stars, but it is a scam the way they lure you waste loads of time playing with it as the site ALLEGES there is a free version ... but NO, you have to join a plan to convert what you create to an mp3. Of course you need to dig into the help desk to be told that - not where you actually sign up for the trial! They need a new marketing decision-maker because this is a really poor introduction to your customer experience.

I signed up on the business lite plan which is not a cheap decision. I own a training organisation that specialises in health. The first 4 learner resources we converted converted without an issue but than we started getting errors. We now could not convert more than 15,000. We now could not convert out text because it had the word 'drug' in it or the names of body parts or it would not convert text, without any reason why. I then connected Murf and, in summary, was told too bad. Murfs response was to change our content. So now we had to change the real name of body parts, or health terminology to suit Murf, what a joke. Even worse, I paid for 50 projects and although I have only been able to successfully convert 8 projects, my licence says I have converted 23 projects because this system counts the failed attempts as a download. Do not use this software and do not believe the 5 star reviews, particularly if you are trying to use this software to convert learning material for people with learning difficulties, MURF does not care.
I have cancelled their service a couple of months back. I thought I was successful however I got charged today for a service I haven't used for months and largely forgotten about. Completely ridiculous
Also, I would like to point out their UI and instructions that show you how to cancel their service is not clear at all and complicated. I would never recommend this product for anybody.
Site works but I don't like their policies. They charge you monthly and give you 2 hours to use, I paused my subscription as I don't need to keep racking up hours but they freeze your account and don't let you use your banked hours. Driving away customers like me with that approach, they want your money more than your business. Too many other options out there for dumb policies like this.
Do not trust this company with your bank/card details. I signed up with one card, and when I got it cancelled they were somehow still able to charge my account?
I have transactions that I am now disputing as I was not aware that I was still being charged for this service; due to having cancelled my card.
Also I noticed that if a charge does not go through, the company will continue to charge your account daily until its successful. This seems predatory towards people who aren't aware that they are still being charged for their service.
As most sub services automatically cancel if a charge does not go through.
