With older versions of Moogsoft we faced some challenges but with their continued improvisations product is getting much better and in current Enterprise versions Almost everything will be handled at UI level.
The big challenges in every organization is tickets flow with events 1:1.
With Moogsoft it's been simplified just like that using deduplication(Events to Alerts) mechanism.
Along with that we have a great feature named Clustering which will filter more similar deduped alerts into Situaions.
These mechanisms are helping the customers in targeting minimum of 95+% of noise reduction in many cases.
What not, many more similar to such features with Moogsoft Enterprise.
It creates a single situation when multiple alerts for similar device come up or if multiple alerts for similar issue and similar device arise rather than creating many number of tickets.
There is no option of rerunning any action which will recheck if th alert is still active. We have to wait for the alert to be cleared automatically and sometimes it takes really long and even never clear the alert. hence we have to clear the alert manually in this case.

The best of moogsoft is its integration with all other managers which deliver the alerts generated to it. The moogsoft manager consists of several managers which monitor servers and fetch the alerts from them and deliver it to moogsoft.
Automation process has a very big drawback in the moogsoft tool. We get as many tickets for a single issue and it causes a big inconvinience for the users who are about to work on it.
I strongly recommend users to use moogsoft for alert monitoring as it has so many benefits compared to other monitoring tools. The speacial of moogsoft is the integration with other managers.
The problems that are being solved in moogsoft are alert monitoring at its best we get alerts from different managers in a single console which helps the users to handle very effeciently. the benefits to be told is the maintenance window in which we can suppress alerts which are unwanted that is generated during the time of activity in servers . Overall moogsoft is a good one for those who prefer smartwork.
Moogsoft is one the best tools ever used for monitoring tools. It is also called as MOM meaning manager of managers. It is used to get alerts from several managers and integrate them in a single tool. It really helps in multitasking
The one main thing to dislike is we ave a problem in automation. While automating tickets there is an issue in back end and it has not been rectified bby team . The semi automation and automation becomes an issue while we receive repeated tickets for the same issue and hence it makes working difficullt on multi incidents for a same issue.
I strongly recommend users to use moogsoft as you can avoid using multiple managers for monitoring by integrating them into a single manager tool for alerts.
The moogsoft monitoring tool has several managers integrated into a single monitoring tool and therefore it makes work a lot more easier and the user is able to do multitasking instead of sitting with a single work of alert monitoring.

We do work on multiple things such as creating tickets and using maintenance tool for suppressing alerts during activity and keeping notes for incidents if no action is taken. the main advantage we could say is we are able to integrate it with incident management tool and ease of work by managing incidents throgh them.
Its good and what i like the most is easy incident creation. we can easily create incident and the main thing i like in moogsoft is the integration with other managers .
It can be linked with several managers for easy monitoring hence allows the users to work in an easy environment.
Moogsoft is also called as the manager of managers since a single tool can be used to monitor most of the managers so it reduces work complication. Hence the users come into a very user free environment.
what i dislike is automation is still a goal to achieve. Automation sometimes creates very complicated issues which leads to the crash of the tool. Until now we are able to get a clarity in semi automation but while it comes to full automation it leads to various issues and henceforth that is the only thing to be disliked in moogsoft.
I strongly recommend using moogsoft it has so many advantages .You can integrate several managers in this tool. And it really meets its requirements.
Incident creation and monitoring of alerts from servers. moogsoft tool is integrated with service now tool so that we can create tickets from the moog itself and integration of several alert managers with the tool helps us in receiving alerts from various servers and creates an easy environment for users. Moogsoft is one of the best tools i have used.
