Microfocus is a very easy to implement and quick learning tool.

Microfocus is very reliable and no complexity.

Make the tool more less costly so larger groups of people will use it and learn its great functionalities.

Micro Focus UFT Developer is not open source when there are multiple options like selenium.

As we were setting up our internal Test Automation Team to handle SAP upgrades and migration, we were looking for reliable, stable and suitable Test Automation Tool. Microfocus (then HP) came as top based on the features in ALM (Test management interface) and UFT (for development of test scripts)

What I liked while using Microifcus ALM and UFT is it was very developer-friendly and could handle the library in the script and had strong integration with SAP.

The output of the script as results were also clear.

Automation Scripts that were created in UFT relied on specific Data and there was not much support for automating data supply. Further, it required long hours of installation due to lot many pre-requisites. However, still we were able to use UFT in a much more useful manner.

If you are SAP user and want to automate large number of primary SAP transactions, you can definitely rely on Microfocus UFT and ALM

It is solving a major problem of lengthy unreliable manual SAP testing by allowing to record screen transactions. It benefitted me as a Test automation manager to allocate work to my developers and track the progress of Script development within the tool itself.
