Advanced and Interactive Dashboards
It is very easy to use
It is quite flexible

Overall my experience with Metabase is quite good and I am happy with the product
License is costly
It lacks Data Governance, or we can't maintain a hierarchy on the Metabase side. We need to handle all the Data Governance on our source side
Sometimes it crashes when we create heavy dashboards.
We use this tool to create Business Dashboards for our Sales Team. And as it is easy to use, all the teams quickly get used to this tool.
So with the help of Metabase dashboards, we can figure out where our team is lacking and work on it.
It is accessible to everyone.
We can build without relying on the upstream work.
We can publish our new dashboards and also sharable with our stakeholders.
I think there is one pitfall for Metabase. It works only with a single SQL data source.
It is much better than Tableau.
We can increase the maximum number of connections to the app DB.
It has a great dashboard, and it's easy to use.
It also provides a read-only front-end connection for multiple databases.
Easy to link to Zendesk, looks up users by the details our team created for us, allows me to see custom fields for sorting and I am able to "sort" by the column that I need.
There isn't much I dislike. I am a user, not a "bulider" of the Metabase data structure for my team. I ask for a database, and someone else builds it. However, it seems that it's easy to use one that is put together and we use it all the time for pulling information from our central system, like contest winners, subscriptions, etc.
I haven't encountered any pitfalls here, but again, I don't build the reports, I use the reports that are built. We need to find out who contest winners are based on points accumulated in our system, and it does that easily. As well it keeps track of all subscriptions we have in our database, and I can see things (custom fields I assume) like username, coupons used, platform, etc.
Metabase provides a range of visualization options, such as charts, graphs, and tables, to present data in a visually appealing and meaningful way. Users can explore their data interactively, slice and dice it, and create informative visualizations to understand patterns, trends, and correlations.
Metabase may face limitations when dealing with very large datasets or complex data structures. It might not perform optimally or provide the same level of responsiveness when handling massive amounts of data. This can impact performance and user experience in scenarios where scalability is critical.
Metabase promotes data democratization by making data accessible to a wider audience within an organization. It enables users across departments and roles to access and understand data, fostering a data-driven culture and empowering individuals to leverage data in their decision making.
Metabase is the most reliable and best business intelligence tool. I love how users can easily customise many data sources right away.
Nothing was least helpful with Metabase, I've used it several times, and I'm thrilled with this tool
I've been using Metabase for a while now, and it is very user-friendly; even if you do not have much technical knowledge, you are good to go.
Meta base is the simple allowing complex setting which is very easy to use for heavy users. It's a powerful and reliable tool I would recommended it go for it without any hesitation..
Honestly, I don't think that I have any dislike for metabase because till now I haven't face any kind of problem from it. One or two time it's load slow but it's totally fine for me
It's easy to use, so easy to learn how to write SQL in metabase no need to extract data online

It has an excellent UX interface and a popular open-source business intelligence tool that can be installed in our local environment. It's a simple and powerful analytic tool.
I don't feel that there is any such dislike in Metabase. It lets anyone learn and make decisions from their company data, and even no technical knowledge is required
It benefits us in analyzing the data from various data destinations and sources.
It's pretty flexible. It is reliable for managing data in real time
It also helps us to get an overview of the SQL data
It is an open-source way for everyone to learn from the data. It adds variables to queries to develop the correct data in front of the right people. It also has a customized dashboard with custom links and filters
