What do you like best about Membershipworks?

Easy to use, easy integration. Customer service is A+++++++++++++++

What do you dislike about Membershipworks?

Is is somewhat limited but allows enough flexibility to get the job done. It is by far the best for the price, or even higher priced options.

What problems is Membershipworks solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a start-up association and this platform offered enough features to do the job for our needs.

What do you like best about Membershipworks?

Membershipworks is a scalable, affordable CRM for our Chamber of Commerce. They are constantly listening to customers and expanding their features.

What do you dislike about Membershipworks?

There is a small learning curve. We are still discovering what we can do with the program. Luckily, customer service is free and responsive.

Recommendations to others considering Membershipworks:

Do it! Take advantage of their free training and amazing customer service to make sure that you are set up for success.

What problems is Membershipworks solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have reorganized our entire membership and are now able to easily track and communicate with over 300 businesses.

"Great plug-in for Membership websites!"
What do you like best about Membershipworks?

I can embed HTML widgets into almost any website and can customize the fields as well as layout. It is a lot more flexible than other membership software I have tried. I have used it for business associations, networking groups and even created a directory of properties for a real estate association. I also like that the support team will pick up the phone and answer questions. That seems rare now among tech companies.

What do you dislike about Membershipworks?

There are a few limitations. Such as only one widget per page. That has created the need for additional pages and popups, and I prefer fewer clicks to get to functions. However, these limitations are tolerable in light of all that it does do. Also, the HELP section is useful however sometimes I do not know the terms used so finding an answer is sometimes challenging... But that is why the phone line is appreciated! Also, right now only one primary image is available (excluding a photo gallery) and two would be nice: one for a logo and one for a headshot.

Recommendations to others considering Membershipworks:

As with any software investigation: 1) Make a "wish list"; 2) Investigate alternatives considering features & reviews; 3) Test drive the software as well as customer support. In several of my projects, customer support was KEY to the success of the implementation.

What problems is Membershipworks solving and how is that benefiting you?

For membership organization directories, I prefer to include more than just name, address, phone, email. With MembershipWorks I can customize all the fields that I need. Same goes for a real estate directory for a caravan tour. I created one that included real estate fields (prices, square footage, # bedrooms, a photo gallery & map) using it. Flexible!! Plus they include various widgets for searches. The BIGGY was a location search based on a zip, city or state. Other alternative software did not include this feature.

What do you like best about Membershipworks?

The MembershipWorks system is so simple and straightforward to use. It has allowed our organization, to keep members, events, and communications all organized. MW customer service is also friendly, prompt, and super helpful whenever we do run into a challenge. We're BIG fans and highly recommend MW to any membership organization.

What do you dislike about Membershipworks?

We're very hopeful that one day MembershipWorks will offer an open API

I've worked with other member management tools and MembershipWorks is by far the most user friendly one I've found. A great platform with great support. Highly recommend!

"Adjustable membership system that fill all of our needs."
What do you like best about Membershipworks?

Membershipworks has the functions we were looking for that was lacking in other systems.

Membershipdirectory, Eventmanagement and ecommerce for members.

What do you dislike about Membershipworks?

Well sometimes I found their documentation to little but they do answer quickly on their support forum so there are rarely any lasting problems.

Recommendations to others considering Membershipworks:

Give it time. Because it is worth it. The biggest problem is choosing a system but not allowing time enough to learn. And membershipworks was more easy to learn than all the four plugin we used before.

What problems is Membershipworks solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used 4 different plugins in wordpress before we started using Membershipworks. One for the public member directory, one for the member events, another for the administration of members and we tried using woo-comerce to create e-commerce for our members but it was to complicated. So we saved lots of time and were able to give the members more.

What do you like best about Membershipworks?

Affordable. Provides the functionality we need. Has a WordPress integration.

What do you dislike about Membershipworks?

Poor security practice: no two-factor authentication for admins. Difficult to do external integrations or automation. WordPress integration is non-standard, difficult to customise and interferes with other integrations that access member details. The management interface is clunky and annoying.
