I salute that students have access to practise exams especially in the deep remedial mode where they may hone their skills and abilities.

The availability of more materials that clearly explain everything so that I can assist my pupils in practising more is in my mind which ca be changed.

The biggest advantage is that my algebra pupils have access to RICAS practise problems, which allows us to review previously taught ideas.

The Lumos StepUp program is user friendly. It has tests that mimic the real standardized assessment which provides students with familiarity and the chance to gain confidence in their test taking skills. Furthermore, the Lumos StepUp program is proven to improve test scores. With so much emphasis placed on test scores, students need individualized instrutction which this software can provide. As students move through a plethora of questions, they become increasingly familiar with assessment styles and are able to see where their gaps are. Due to the vast number of questions, teachers and students can work to facilitate mastery in weak areas. I have seen the huge difference that this program can make in my students' lives, and I know that it has helped many students learn at their own pace.

Two additional benefits of the program are the homework assistant and the coach. Not every student has a parent at home that can assist them, but Lumos StepUp's unique access to artificial intelligence (AI) makes it possible for those students to get extra assistance as needed. As a teacher, I also love that a coach will review their work from time to time and see how they are making progress. This allows students to see that their performance is not just to check off their list, but because people really want to see how this program is helping them succeed.

Using Lumos StepUp gave my students much-needed practice on problems that were very similar to what they saw on the MAP test.

My school was lacking a formal MAP Prep system, and I really felt like this filled that gap.

I really enjoyed working with the Lumos Learning. I was able to set up my students to work on their assignments and watch their progress as they submitted their answers. We were able to review before their state assessment and it was a huge help to them as well as myself. I was able to see what areas they needed to practice so I was able to reteach those areas to them.

The questions provided were very much aligned to the goal of the lesson, which was to increase the rigor and complexity in prompts. Provided questions that pushed students to think above a recall depth of knowledge. Students had to show work and problem solve and use the mathe.atical practices to persevere through the activity. Created a great opportunity for them to collaborate and create with each other.

Formatting was not enticing for kids and bland.

It was 11th grade preparation for CAASPP testing. It definitely showed student strength's and opportunities for growth.

With Cmas coming up I want to make sure I've covered all my bases and Step Up helps me see what gaps my students have. I also like that I have quick access to support materials for those gaps and don't have to look everywhere for worksheets.

In addition the children also receive instant feedback on their skills and it helps the see what the know and don't know.

Sometimes the interface can be a little confusing and I need to look around for different reports. For example, if I am looking for student specific results versus group reports it seems like I click on a bunch of links before finding what I need. Also having to type in a description for the assignments is super annoying.

Get this early in the school year. It really helps.

I appreciated the quality of the sample questions and especially the answer explanations, they were very thorough.

The only point I would like to see improved is to have more materials, so I could help my students practice even more.

Using the material is simple, though it is best to review everything well beforehand in order to be well-acquainted.

I am helping students study for the ACT Aspire test. All of my students scored either Ready or Exceeding after using these materials.

I love how when working with the students and the program we can all see how many students have answered(should clarify I activecast to my board), and then we can all see the clear explanation of how to correctly solve the problem. They have lots of resources and videos available to use as well. I am currently using it with a small select group of students during an extended school day whose scores on last years state test were bordering the next proficiency level so we can give those students that extra boost this year to gain a level on the state test(that is my goal as a teacher and our goal as a school this year). I am very pleased with the level of curriculum this has added to help us in trying to reach our goals.

I can't dislike the program I only dislike that I have a small portion of it currently. So far everything that I have worked with within the program has been easy and beneficial.

Trying to increase state test scores. After analyzing last school years data identified a group who needed more in the RP state standard so we have been using those lessons to work with our students this year attempting to give those students that extra boost when they test this school year.

I like the practice tests that are available to students, especially in the deep remedial mode where the students can stregthen their skills. I like how teachers get a report of student progress.

I think it would be good for students to instantly get a reponse for each one of their answers on the practice test, instead of waiting until the end of the assessment.

We are working on former concepts that have already been taught in class. The greatest benefit is that I have RICAS practice problems available to my algebra students whose current curriculum does not reflect RICAS problems. I teach 8th grade math....

It allows students to continue their learning with more resources and extra practice.

I am able to personalize students learning more frequently with the help of Lumos StepUp.
