I find LegalServer to be a mature platform that is well-developed and free of bugs, offering more features than I might initially need. It allows me the flexibility to choose what works best for my organization, which greatly enhances our operational efficiency. With a staff of 150, we can seamlessly share cases among team members over time, ensuring everything remains secure and organized. Unlike traditional spreadsheets, LegalServer maintains the integrity of our data, and its capability to store data, documents, and emails all in one place is incredibly beneficial. This integration simplifies our workflow and supports our mission to provide legal help to immigrants and their families. The platform's comprehensive, robust nature has led me to rate it a perfect 10 in terms of recommending it to others.

I don't have a good way to save the information about the pro bono attorneys (who are not in our organization, they are volunteers). I have to use another platform (Every Action) for that. I'm not sure how information about volunteers could be saved. It would fall under Volunteer Management.

Once you figured out how, your interface was customizable with font size, what to show on the screen and where. I liked that I could send an e-mail to the case file and it would copy that e-mail to the case file rather than me having to copy and paste it in.

This application is not user friendly. The search system required exact spelling of clients name to have it appear. Layout was not always apparent and provided some problems. The application would go down pretty often and would cause a delay in work. Documents could only be uploaded one at a time and would cause the site to crash or freeze a lot.

It's free, so it provided us, a non-profit, a secure platform to manage our cases in. We were able to log our time spent on the case and upload documents or notes related to the case. Helped the agency go paperless.
