The best thing was that I could get this customized to my needs and the needs of my office. Its been very helpful having it customized to us and not just general.

There is not much I dislike about this, it is a great platform and used by everyone in my company.

Definitely consider this product, well worth it. It has helped my company so much.

With its multiple specialties, it's a great help to our medical department here at the college.

This system makes work so much easier than having to type out a note.payment notification and the patient tracking is great since the system has got features which makes tracing information easily including which department to find the patient.

So far we as laboratory department, we haven't deemed any drawbacks about this system, However much thet say everything that has got advantages has disadvantages on the other hand, i can promise you once you try this software you will not be able to imagine operating without it.

I would highly recommend this product without any reservations.

This system has really assisted us in delivering laboratory results, receiving laboratory requisition form and even saving time.

The most amazing thing about IMS by meditab software is, the software is inclusive of all things that a medical doctor would like to have regarding the patient just by a click. Doctors can be able to access the patient data at any place as long as they are able to access the software. The patient information is well stipulated .

Sometimes it may take few minutes to load especially if u are trying to access huge file at once, thus if you are in hurry it my slightly inconvenience you. The software has some features that we don't use frequently or may even never use. And it lacks some feature that we may need.

Access of patient data and recording of it is one of the greatest benefit the software has offered

I like the way patient portal is connected witj our Electronic medical record system for ease in interaction with our patients.

I do not like its billing feature but any other thing is excellent.

It is easy to scan the patients documents and uploading them into the system i highly recommend it.

To track patients and know where they are at all times and patient data accesibility.

It is incredibly easy to chart. I can find patients and update charts quickly with quick search options.

It doesn't always transfer correctly to billing.

IMS is an easy windows-based system to create patient schedules and enter in data. The Windows feel is easy to comprehend and get a hang of. There are a lot of working parts to this system and it is easy to mess something up if you don't know what you're doing.

I do not like the billing and collections side. Posting money is easy but it's not functional. Generating claims and Downloading claims are easy but auto reconciliation isn't the best choice for collections at the end.

It's a good system in most ways but some of the harder portions outweigh the good.

We are an OB/GYN practice and IMS is nice for front end but back of the house is where this system is lacking in benefits.

I liked that this system was easy to navigate. Scanning and uploading documents was really easy. This platform was easy to navigate.

There were a lot of technical problems. it seemed at least someone in my clinic was on the phone with IT at some point or another. The system froze a lot.

Our clinic flow improved greatly with the implementation of this software. We were using 2 systems before and this replaced both of them, thus being more efficient.

Very user friendly interface. Different colors for different types of appointments to make the schedule easy to glance over.

The system is slow and crashes a lot. If your pc isn’t up to date on things like java it will be very slow.

Have at least two windows open at all times so you can toggle between screens without slowing the system down.

Patient portal is linked with the EMR so we can interact easily with patients

I like the ability to make entire templates for the visit note, as well as the ease of scheduling and e-scribing medications.

A separate software for pulling medications that’s linked to IMS, SureScripts, consistently loses server connection and does not work much of the time. It takes quite a bit of time to edit and make new templates, and the software makes it cumbersome to edit the little details in the note.

All the documents and notes you’ll ever find on a patient will be saved in this software, and there is ease to finding them as long as they’re labeled correctly. I cannot speak on behalf of billing, but it is also used in this software.

Truthfully there is not a lot to like about this software, but I'll go ahead and acknowledge the fact that there are a lot of features in this EMR. The problem is that these features are useless when they aren't configured by the right people, and it costs quite a bit to get the right people to do it.

The user interface is complicated and ugly with multiple windows needing to be navigated in order to complete one task. The configuration is convoluted and redundant making for a slow tedious workflow. There are lots of places to add chart information, but it's all designed in a way that makes it not very user friendly.

If you must go with the IMS software, spend extra on a full service implementation/configuration from the reseller. But if you're looking for something user friendly, keep looking!

This would solve the requirements of the EHR incentive program, IF it's configured properly and you have a lot of time and money to invest in set up and integration with various applications. However, this cost our company a lot of money with no return on investment.
