Excellent customer service and tech forward looking.
Excellent customer service and brilliant app that integrates seamlessly with Shopify. We always had any queries or questions responded to efficiently. Would thoroughly recommend HIVE as a warehouse fufilment partner with an emphasis on easy to use, tech back end that makes it simple for the client to use and feel in control of the various options they have available.

Using Hive for our UK and Pan-EU business
We have been working with Hive for almost a year now, using their warehouses in both the UK and Germany to support our UK and pan-European business. Before choosing Hive, we reviewed several fulfillment operators, but Hive clearly stood out by offering competitive pricing and a very hands-on team.

The onboarding process was seamless, with quick and efficient integration into our own IT systems. This made the transition hassle-free and gave us confidence right from the start. Whenever we had questions or faced challenges, the Hive team responded promptly and always went the extra mile to provide effective solutions.

Overall, Hive has proven to be a reliable partner, combining technology, operational excellence, and genuine customer care. I can highly recommend them as a strong fulfillment partner in UK and/or Europe.

Experience was awful and unbelievable
Orders were repeatedly fulfilled with delays (3–5 days to process internally) despite promising 48-hour delivery. Customer service would simply copy and paste generic responses, avoiding accountability for the constant issues and delays.

At one point, so many packages went missing when delivered via Hive that it resulted in lost trust from new customers and additional costs for us to reimburse and refund them.

Hive repeatedly used incorrect packaging materials and sizes, leaving us to spend hours and days manually tracking and correcting their mistakes. These unacceptable errors required multiple chains of communication and weeks to resolve.

They also lost inventory during the move-out process, which they refuse to reimburse. Their claim amounts for lost or delayed packages are far below industry standards.

For what should be a straightforward service, the experience was awful and unbelievable, leaving us with more issues than before.

Their terms and conditions are intentionally designed to void accountability, relying on unconscionable methods that make them wholly unreliable.

Avoid at all costs.
Avoid at all costs.

I've been with Hive for nearly 3 months, and just about everything has gone wrong. It's been one of the worst business decision I've made for our company.

I don't know where to start, but I hope this list will summarise things:

1. The software doesn't work. My customers are often unable to download their return labels from their Hive 'customer portal' - meaning we need to manually create them & pass them on. The software also doesn't let us reply to Hive's customer support team, and all your correspondents disappear in the tickets you create.

2. Incorrect fulfilment of orders. We've had nearly 50 cases of Hive sending out other companies' products instead of ours. We sell bedding products yet our customers were receiving dog food.

3. Overcharging us. Despite agreeing prices prior to joining, Hive's team were sending our products out with a delivery option nearly twice as expensive as what we agreed. It took me to notice this issue to get it addressed, and we're now in the process of getting it reimbursed.

4. Sending items separately = further increasing our costs. Hive's team have been sending items that should be sent together, separately. This has been causing additional delivery costs for our orders. We're trying to reclaim some of these costs back.

5. Lack of compensation for our products they've lost. Whether it's due to incorrect fulfilment, or items simply not being loaded into deliveries, Hive have lost us over £2500 worth of goods. When trying to reclaim these costs, we're told we'd only receive the 'production cost' of the lost item, with £10 thrown in as compensation. It goes without saying this doesn't even scratch the surface of how much Hive have cost us in commercial value.

I hope this review can help other small brand owners chose a different (and better) 3PL company.

Restocking on hold up to 25 days
Restocking on hold up to 25 days. After 20 days, they found the packages with the products, but after another 5 days, they still hadn't been restocked.
Terrible service, we received at least 10 negative reviews from customers about their working times. Avoid.
